The Turkish get Up
This workout includes Balance, power, and mindfulness. It takes coordination as well as athleticism to complete the move. I love using it as a warm-up, or cool down. I also use this sometimes as the main focus of my exercises.
In order to learn the balance technique of the Turkish Get Up, we practice balancing something like a shoe on top of our fists. This creates the sensation and realism of keeping a packed shoulder, stiff arm, and the mindfulness of control. .

After matching her conventional deadlift PR of 170 today, we started working on sumo. And holy crap did she show up. Pulling a PR of 155 for 2x1

Feels so good to be making progress in my workouts.😬🙌🏻 This week I went up on weight with two different upper body exercises that I’ve been doing weekly for back/bis and it was such a feeling of accomplishment.💪🏻As I always preach, it’s important to celebrate those small victories. So, cheers to makin gains😏💃🏻
