Good Morning Peeps!!!
I’m back from Toronto! And let me tell ya... the gymshark pop up was absolutely amazing! Got all the merch I wanted and got to meet my favorite athletes!! (I waited in line from 6am till opening doe..😳) I snagged this new seamless set and there is something different about this new set I love more than the older version! These are also less high waisted which is nice cause the older ones are a little bit too high in my opinion.
It’s sooo great to be back at OTF though.. work outs have been really hard but they’re prepping us for HELLWEEK I can feel it!! Lol
Iv also re-introduced carbs back into my diet and my body could not be any more thankful! The keto diet was a good start but with all this heavy lifting and intensive HIIT work outs 5-6 times a week, my body needed more carbs to kill it in the gym! It wasn’t an easy first couple of weeks.. in fact I felt soo bloated everyday.. but today was a better day:) I felt energized and not feel as bloated....I’m starting to count macros and any pointers can help since it’s not the easiest to do! Have you ever noticed that so many women talk about bloating pains, but hardly hear men talking about it? 🤔
There are biological reasons why women are more likely to develop intestinal issues and bloating than men.
Men do experience bloating because food is a main trigger, but women experience it more often and it develops into larger issues.
So why is it that women are more prone to bloating than men?
🤕 Women are WAY more stressed out.
Stress can lead to digestive issues. Food is one aspect of bloating, but stress fuels the fire. We must prioritize self-care in order to reduce our stress levels.
⚠️ Hormones, Hormones, HORMONES!
Hormones play a huge role in the digestive system. Our hormones can affect the bacteria in our gut microbiome and promote the growth of bad bacteria if we aren’t fueling our bodies with proper foods and finding ways to reduce stress and anxiety.
💤 Poor Quality of Sleep.
Because we are dealing with a lot of stress and anxiety our sleep quality is affected. When we don’t sleep well a hormone called Cortisol is released and it disturbs our digestive system and causes bloating and constipation.
😳 We are Embarrassed to Talk About it.
Men have no issue throwing around jokes about farting and what not, but for the majority of women, it is embarrassing! Because it is embarrassing and we feel alone going through bloating, we bottle it up and anxiety levels increase significantly. We need to unite and help each other to eliminate our bloating.

Es geht aufwärts. Ich war bereits mehrfach wieder laufen. Zwar nicht schnell und auch nicht vollkommen schmerzfrei. Aber die stechenden Schmerzen von August & September sind jetzt... anders ;) Das MRT war ohne auffälligen Befund und Ende des Monats bin ich nochmal bei einem weiteren Orthopäden um ggf. Weitere Therapiemöglichkeiten anzugehen.
Bis dahin will und muss ich noch ein wenig die Füße stillhalten, denn wie das dann so ist, Lüge ich diese Woche mit Rückenschmerzen flach, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes, denn sitzen macht grade wenig Spaß 🙈🙈🙈 Irgendjemand hatte mal behauptet ich werde alt.. daran liegt’s vllt ;) _______

But, seriously though, even without photoshop (which I am beyond opposed to), I wanted to show you that all it takes is the right angle, under the right lighting, at just the right second to create the “perfect” illusion.
Now, I’m not saying that my body is an illusion. I do work hard, and I am lean and muscular, but I. Am. Not. “Perfect”...I’m human!...I do not walk around like that 24/7, not even close!
In truth, the picture on the left is the most accurate representation of me 99% of the time And, do you know what? I’m just as proud of THAT picture as I am of the one on the right!
It is 110% OK, and NORMAL, to take pride in your accomplishments and to want to put your best foot forward...We ALL do it!...But, don’t get so wrapped up in trying to find a sense of false “perfection” that you forget how great, and how beautiful you really are.
Keep working hard! Take those selfies! Showcase your accomplishments! Love and take pride in yourself! But, please know, the real world version of you...ya know, the picture on the left...is just as amazing as the one on the right!
