The end to a crazy week. Busy week in the shop, under the weather, hit by a semi Wednesday morning (I’m ok I think) I was looking forward to some solid rest this weekend. Well, that’s Phoenix booking a last minute flight to Phoenix. Softball game this morning then right to the airport for a day trip, back tomorrow eve. I’ll get my sleep on the flight.

Left picture is back in 2014, where I was the cardio bunny. I was too much away from the thoughts to start weight lifting. I did a lot of cardio and here and there some burpees. My goals was to look like those models like Michelle Lewin but I did not want to start with weight lifting. Because I thought I would look like a hulk. I would look manly. So I continued with doing cardio with the desire to have a defined and fit body.
I ran kilometers. Tried to be healthy. Ate chicken with broccoli. I thought donuts are bad. I made the thoughts that there were good and bad foods.

Right picture was a week ago. Lifting weight for 3 years. I found the love to weight lifting. I changed my mind that building muscles would not make me huge and manly.
And let me tell you one thing - I did not only change my body, I also changed my mind. The mind from lifting weights, the mind to nutrition. Every thing…
I am happy where I’m today. But I still have a long way to go.

When I look back at my old photos, I’m thinking: “why the hell did I think that I was fat?” I don’t look fat. And I still don’t get it. Is it because people said this to me? Or was it because I did not feel confident enough?

Let me tell you one thing: Don’t ever let people destroy you. You are better than opinions from others.

-10 R/L lung jumps.
-10 slate boarder hops (totally made up this name).
-10 tuck jumps.
-10 squat jumps.

How to do it:

Put a pillow next to the wall or the head of your bed. Sit on it, stick your buttocks to the wall or the headboard, and raise your legs on the wall. Open your arms at your sides and try to open your chest. Relax and breathe calmly. Hold your posture for 1-2 minutes, then lower your legs.

SINGLE SIDE PLANK: So, these seem real simple..& maybe you’re like...what’s the point. But, TRY THEM! Like right now, get down, & try them. 
These single side plank holds are core KILERS in the BEST way! Raise your right arm & your left leg at the same time. Keep that balance at the top, for 5-10 seconds, & then slowly release down & switch sides. 
Keep this pattern going for the full amount of time. 
Aim to do 3-5 sets of 45-60 seconds.
