Using the Megaformer, I found out I have a handicapped left Glute Muscle that doesn’t like to activate like my right cheek so the pain in my knees I’ve been feeling when running is actually due to weak gluteal muscles and not just #badknees. .

The mind-body connection necessary to move just in every day life is EVERYTHING on the Megaformer. I suggest EVERYBODY to try it out. I don’t care if you’ve never exercised a single day in your life, the LOW IMPACT aspect of these workouts and machine makes exercise accessible to everyone❤️

A little booty work 🍑 today 👌🏼 these are just a few of my favorite exercises for glutes. When working glutes I generally don’t count reps, I just go until failure and then do it again and again 😆 for the last exercise put a heavy resistance band above your knees as you do side lunges on the treadmill. I like to raise incline slowly as I do these and switch sides every 20-30 seconds. Save it to try 😉 #ninafitnesstraining

A lot of people are going through finals season right now and trust me when I say that after taking my last final I always became severely sick because I didn’t take care of my body and overfilled it with exorbitant amounts of caffeine and junk food. -

Here are some tips that helped me get through FINAL finals season in one piece

•If you are drinking caffeine make sure to FILL YOURSELF UP WITH WATER

•Prepare your snacks ahead of time. I used to wait till I got to campus, get hungry, go to the nearest vending machine and grab hot cheetos (Trust me when I say it wasn’t pretty after 5 hours)

•MEAL PREP! FINALS SEASON IS GRUELING and no one has time to spend 3 hours making each meal and cleaning dishes etc etc. Meal prep during the weekend so you can grab your meal and run to the library. -

•Sleep! I know that we want to stay up late and cram in every detail for an exam, but lack of sleep can cause you to be more groggy, unable to retain information and can decrease your immune system’s defense. -

Strength challenge day! I liked this one! I couldn't stand yesterday's speed agility challenge...I am neither speedy nor agile, and I learned that I can't count reps and do agility drills simultaneously. 🤣 But I know that completing this program start to finish, whether I like the exercises or not, will get me in awesome shape! I already feel much leaner since starting a week ago. Two more weeks to go! 💪
