Every time I post a video of me doing push ups, I get a TON of messages from people who want to improve their strength with push ups so I made a little video on how to become a beast push up queen 💪🏻👸🏼
🌟If you saw my last video on my YouTube channel (Fit Kit Ep. 8), you’ll understand how progressive overload works. You need to slowly add more and more resistance to get stronger. Here’s how to do that with push ups:
🔅Incline push ups
🔅Knee push ups
🔅Decline push ups (Not pictured but the opposite of incline—put your feet on an elevated surface)
🔅Plyo push ups
1️⃣Start with whatever form allows you to do 8 good reps. This could be incline push ups on a three foot tall box. It could be knee push ups. Whatever you need to do to maintain good form for 8 reps. Do three sets on every upper body day or three days per week.
2️⃣Work on this until you can do 10 good reps for three sets then move to the next progression. If you started with incline on a 3 foot box, move to a 2 foot box. If you started with knee push ups, move on to regular push ups.
3️⃣Work your way back up to 10 good reps with this new progression then move to the next progression and continue this pattern
And before you know it, you’ll be THE PUSH UP QUEEN

It can be pretty hard not to look at the person next to you and judge yourself by their abilities. But you're not doing yourself any favors if you do! Psychika dokáže obrovské veci. Ako kráčam životom, tak si to viac a viac všímam. .
Sú dva typy ľudí, tí ktorí si povedia hneď na začiatku, že sa to nedá a ono sa to potom naozaj ani nedá. Lebo oni si už vopred povedali ako to bude a tak sa aj nastavia na celý proces. A ešte na konci povedia: “vidíš, ja som povedal, že sa to nedá”.
A potom je druha skupina, ktorá si povie, že neexistuje tak vysoká hora, že neexistuje tak hlboká dolina a tak široká rieka, aby ich zastavili (to mám z pesničky 😉).
Našťastie patrím k tej druhej skupine. Vždy keď sa do niečoho pustím, vždy keď si niečo zaumienim, tak dám do toho všetko a nenechám to, kým sa mi to nepodarí. Ľudia sa ma často pýtajú: “a čo urobíš, keď sa ti to nepodarí”. Nuž, ja takú možnosť nemám. Ja mám vždy iba plán A, plán B u mňa neexistuje. Možno je to riskantné, ale je zaujímavé, ako to funguje. Niekedy je to neuveriteľne ťažké a naozaj musím preliezť tú najvyššiu horu a preplávať tú najširšiu rieku, ale vždy sa mi to nejako podarí.
Začnite aj vy svoj týždeň s tým, že sa zaradíte do tej druhej skupiny ľudí. Poviete si, že to pojde, nastavte sa tak a ono to naozaj pojde 😘

Training makes me feel strong and empowered yet feminine. It has given my body a shape (curves) like I never had in my life earlier. It’s made me headstrong and goal driven, which I never was. It has taught me patience and to believe in myself .

I use a lacrosse ball! ⚾️ - other options are tennis ball, massage ball...
The video is sped up, but I do it slowly and concentrate on areas that are more tender. 😵 It hurts, but it feels nice afterwards!
