One thing I don't have to worry about is them getting a good breakfast because even on the busiest mornings we have a plan. This Brownie Batter Smoothie Bowl Made Good is just one of them!

Ovviamente in Portogallo non potevamo non assaggiare il famoso Polvo à Lagareiro: si tratta di polpo dapprima stufato e successivamente grigliato, così da conferirgli una consistenza tenerissima (e lo confermo). Generalmente (come nel nostro caso) è servito con salsa a base di: olio, prezzemolo e aglio, con contorno di patate e verdure. L’olio l’ho trovato un po’ eccessivo, come l’aglio e le cipolle, per il resto 🔝
Viaggiando sto prendendo sempre più coscienza del fatto che l’Italia sia uno dei pochi paesi a non prediligere i piatti unici (anche se ultimamente pare che le cose stiano cambiando anche da noi). Questo non necessariamente è un fattore negativo, dipende come sempre, da tanti fattori. Io personalmente lo preferisco non so, tanti colori, sapori e consistenze in un unico piatto... mi mettono il buon umore!!! 😊

I’m a huge sushi lover, so I decided to make my own!  I ordered a sushi rolling kit on Amazon, which made this so easy!  I also purchased organic Nori (seaweed wraps) and organic sushi rice on Amazon too. 
Prepare 1 cup of sushi rice according to instructions. Let cool. Then add 2 tbsp of rice vinegar, 1 tbsp maple syrup, and a couple cranks of sea salt. 
You can fill your sushi with whatever you want. I chopped one red pepper and a sweet potato into small slices and baked for about 30 minutes at 375. I also cut an avocado into small pieces. 
Place one sheet of Nori shiny side down on your sushi mat. Spread a thin layer of rice all way to the edge, leaving about an inch at the top. It’s sticky, so I recommend using a little water and your fingers to spread the rice.  About an inch and a half from the bottom of the Nori, add your filling. The key is to not overfill, otherwise it will be difficult to roll!  Start rolling from the bottom pressing firmly. Slice and serve!

I swear it changes every day 🙈 Whatever it is, I will pair with berries whenever possible 🤤 I love em especially because they’re low FODMAP & VERY IBS friendly. Not the prettiest side dish, but it's super flexible - this one's good for potlucks, holiday meals, lunches, and everything in between. I like to roast a sweet potato and stuff it with these babies for a quick meal on the go (put an egg 🍳 on it, of course). It's sweet and salty and savory and delicious 😋 .

one of the perks i’ve experienced since becoming plant-based (ish), is that i have way more flexibility with my daily calorie intake. i never realised how many calories were in meat before! … and now some of those calories can should be allocated to bread and other yummy things. this 🍞 VEGAN RUSTIC ARTISAN BREAD 🍞 is the perfect loaf of rustic bread, wonderfully crisp and chewy on the outside, while tender and even slightly moist on the inside. i can now officially say i’ve made a loaf of bread as good as a professional artisan bread baker 👩🏼‍🍳// there’ nothing like the comforting sound of a crackling crispy crust being torn over a steaming hot bowl of soup 🍲 am i right, or am i right ..?! i love to bake cookies, pies, brownies, cakes…you name it. but for me, there is nothing more rewarding than baking my own bread. i get serious vibes when i can serve my whole family crusty, earthy bread, straight out of the oven 😋 thank god, we don’t suffer from any gluten intolerance, and i think making my own bread with high quality, minimal ingredients has a lot to do with that. it’s a very sensory process, and it makes me nostalgic for a simpler time before i was even alive – before corporations took over the farming and food industry and before bread had a list of 20+ ingredients on the supermarket shelves.// the bread shown here has a nice textured crumb with a wonderful crusty shell. so good straight from the oven 🙌🏻 nothing better than homemade bread! especially when it’s this easy to put together. it came out with a nice crispy crust and soft flavorful center. never again will i pay $5 to buy a loaf of rustic artisan bread at the store or bakery. astoundingly i liked this even better and it had to cost less than 0.50 cents to make. there is something very therapeutic and rewarding about making your own bread. you just don’t get the same feeling with a warmed loaf of store bought bread ☺️

happy tuesday! over the weekend i was craving something sweet for breakfast so i whipped up a quick yogurt bowl. i added two scoops of @furtherfood collagen to @foragerproject unsweetened cashewgurt and topped it with berries, ground flax, cashew butter, and some paleo granola. i love this yogurt because it’s totally sugar free, the ingredients are super clean, and it actually tastes like plain yogurt. highly recommend it if you’re dairy free and trying to cut back on sugar (but it also comes in sweetened flavors too if you’re not 🤷🏻‍♀️) and always gotta add collagen for protein- you can’t even taste it! enjoy your day friends!

The meal in the picture is grilled fish with roasted potatoes, steamed broccolini and salad, which was absolutely delicious..
............Otherwise if it’s a cheat meal/day or flexible meal, enjoy everything else in moderation 😊😊
