Nothing feels better than finally be back to my daily workouts and healthy eating 🤗 FOOD DIARY from today 🥑🌮🥗😍 I love cooking and creating new meals but I have also a list of standard foods and dishes, I keep on repeating because: 👉🏼 1) they taste amazing and 👉🏼 2) I know the calories amount in each of them and I can easily estimate if they fit my meal plan on a particular day or not 🤗 If you only start with your healthy eating, I would suggest sticking to easy meals that you can prepare quickly. All of my meals from today were cooked within 10-15 minutes, so you don’t have to waste your weekend standing in the kitchen 👍🏼😁 On Saturday or Sunday, I usually have my treat meal and today I had again my favorite sushi - salmon cream cheese avocado rolls and those are so delicious that I can’t wait to have more 🍣🤤 My full day of eating: 
1. 🍎 Breakfast 1 - fried eggs with cheese on top (parmesan and cheddar), half of avocado, cucumber, tomato and strawberries. 
2. 🍎 Breakfast 2 - protein oatmeal bowl with chia seeds, topped with strawberries, banana, raspberries and peanut butter. 
3. 🍎 Snack 1 - @womensbest vanilla whey protein as a quick option on the go.
4. 🍎 Lunch - my all time favorite sushi - salmon cream cheese avocado rolls. 
5. 🍎 Snack 2 - high protein cottage cheese with a few strawberries and cashews. 
6. 🍎 Dinner - giant whole wheat tortilla with white cheese, spinach, avocado, grilled turkey breast, cherry tomatoes and cheddar cheese. 
Total of 2'005 calories 📝😁 Between breakfast 1 and breakfast 2, I did Alexia Clark Friday Challenge and I burned 513 calories 🏋🏼‍♀️💪🏼😍 I loved that workout but my legs are still shaking and I believe walking tomorrow is going to be a bit difficult 😅 In general it was a great day.

Holy moly this is delicious! Was wanting to get in with the fall vibes 🍂🍁 so I whipped up this baby today!

This recipe is gluten free and doesn’t have any added sugar!

Ingredients:
-2 mashed bananas
-1/2 cup pumpkin
-1/2 cup @califiafarms no sugar added pumpkin spice creamer
-3 TBS @lakantosweetener Maple syrup
-2 eggs
-1 1/2 cups oat flour
-1/2 tsp baking powder
-1 TBS pumpkin spice seasoning
-1/2 cup @lilys_sweets_chocolate stevia chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix your wet and dry ingredients separately, then add together. Bake for about 40 minutes then you have yourself some fall flavored deliciousness!

2. Meanwhile, heat 1 tsp olive oil over med-high heat in a medium-sized frying pan. Add steak, cooking for 3-4 minutes each side for medium-rare.⠀
3. Add steak to mason jars, then layer in red cabbage, carrots, pre-cooked noodles, bean sprouts and cilantro.⠀
4. Serve by dumping into a large bowl - jars will keep up to 4-5 days in the fridge.⠀

But the important thing is, at the end of it all you have to look at what your going through and be able to be grateful for everything you have and everything your learning despite how crappy some things may be.

Pancakes are a staple in my weekly food eats.

My (half assed) colorful notes on graph paper is a new found way to improve study habits + my mind to soak & retain information. Shout out to my six year old for sharing her coloring box with me. #momwins ✖️Coffee Chocolate Blueberry Pancakes Recipe.

Step1️⃣ follow instructions on bag. I use brands @birchbenders and @pamelasproducts .

Step2️⃣ sprinkle some cinnamon, heaping 1/4tsp coffee (going for that hint of coffee flavor not overwhelming), scoop of protein powder, and/or collagen and continue mixing with whisk. Then fold in dark Chocolate chips and blueberries with spatula.

Step3️⃣ With pan over medium heat add butter—I use @kerrygoldusa Butter gives pancakes a nice crisp edge, dark golden color, and cozy warmth vibes (in my opinion why i choose butter over spray olive oil). If you use butter I beg you to use REAL butter!

Step4️⃣ Load them up and enjoy 🥞

Do you love a smoothie for a snack? I know it’s dinner time but I was dreaming about this recipe all day long & finally had a moment to prepare. GINGER CARDAMOM HONEY & HEMPSEED SMOOTHIE: 2 frozen bananas 🍌, 1/2 cup homemade hemp milk (so incredibly simple to make & takes just a few minutes), 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower, 1 teaspoon cardamom, 1 slice fresh ginger, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger, about a tablespoon @rangohoney 🍯, sprinkle of cinnamon, teaspoon vanilla, 1 heaping tablespoon @omg_superfoods hempseed protein, 1 tablespoon @manitobaharvest hempseeds.  Blend until creamy, a little sweet and a little spicy! @driscollsberry blueberries, pom seeds, more hempseeds, raw walnuts on top.  Colorful leaves gathered earlier in the day on the bike path. To me a healthy relationship with food means a few things. I think the 2 most important qualities are control and consistency 💁🏼‍♀️👌🏼
I’ve seen far too many people struggle with a poor relationship with food, and I think a huge part of that is when they feel like they’re not in control 😩 I’m not talking about self control and will power to stay away from “bad foods”... I’m talking about feeling like you aren’t in control of the way you’re eating... wether it’s binging, over eating, eating things you’d originally told yourself you weren’t allowed to, or ending up in cycles of dieting, then blowing it and repeating 🤦🏼‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️ Or even people who simply don’t have enough knowledge on the subject, so they think they can only eat certain things they’ve heard are “good for them” 🤷🏼‍♀️
I think we need to build balanced diets that incorporate foods we love on a regular basis 😎🤗 So we never reach the point of having to fully blow it, and end up eating in a way we weren’t planning... leading to a feeling of a loss of control 😩😭And when we eat small things that weren’t planned, we don’t get left with feelings of guilt or regret 😊😋
If you were eating in a balanced flexible way and someone offered you a single chocolate biscuit, you can easily take one, and not really think twice about it 🍫😋... where as I find people on incredibly restrictive diets feel as though one chocolate biscuit will derail their whole progress, and this can often lead to these episodes of uncontrolled eating 🤦🏼‍♀️
If you feel like your eating in a way that one biscuit or an off plan snack results in you completely losing control, you definitely should reach out to someone who can help you work on that 😊😘

I asked what was up and he said I missed an event they had at the store where he wanted me to try his cooking.  I almost laughed in his face, looking like an upset girlfriend I've been neglecting 🤣🤣🤣. We continued talking about food (we're both foodies) and I show him pics of things I've recently prepared. LOL. Long time no see my pals! I've been focusing my energy on creating the foundations for the next steps in my life and it feels good to see things slowly starting to come together. You are my people so here's the latest 😉:
• I got a part time job! It's a seasonal position but that's exactly what I wanted as I'm waiting on another opportunity. • I don't always have a chance to post on here but you can be sure to catch some freshness over on my blog! Last week I put up two yummy posts: one all about FOOD ANXIETIES and another showing off 5 PASTA DISHES you're gonna want to try. • I'm reflecting and tuning into myself and visions are happening. I'm siked to harvest these vibes to manifest great things for myself.
• Fruit is giving me so much life! I literally down two juicy organic pears each morning and they're so good! Figs are the bomb dot com. Shown above with @wildfriends peanut butter, bee pollen, on top of @foodforlifebaking gf English muffins. Plus, my lovely golden milk cacao elixir from @enjoyfulfoods • I mentioned a post or two ago about exploring the GF ways and I've officially concluded I have a gluten/wheat sensitivity. #Instapot Red Lentil Dal. Dinner in 20 min
Sautee onion, garlic, and ginger on sautee setting for 4 min. Dump.in additional ingredients through lentils and cook on soup function for 15 min. When finished stir in spinach, and seal lid for a few more minutes. Top with greek yogurt and cilantro.
1 yellow onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch fresh ginger, microplanes
1 1/2 teas turmeric 
1 tea cumin
1 tablespoon chicken or veggie better than boulion
4 cups water
1 1/12 cup yellow lentils
1/2 cup red lentils
1/4 cup greek yogurt 
1/4 cup cilantro leaves
