Today I stacked my multigrain bread with 2 Tbsp @Hannahintlfoods plain organic hummus; 1/4 cubed avo mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder and lime juice; and a dash of @traderjoes Everything But the Bagel seasoning to finish it off!
What kind of toast are you gobbling up today?
So this morning I got my hands on some freshly caught tuna. I mean the fisherman had freshly caught tuna, so I decided to take some for lunch. And oh boy I was so glad I did, it was sooo delicious 😋 it literally melted in my mouth. I enjoyed every single bite, with an mmmmm. It was mouth watering 🤤.
This dish is so easy so quick to make, i mean tuna steak needs very little cooking, that you can’t say you don’t have time to make it.

1- get the Tuna
2- in a small bowl mix garlic ginger parsley chilli 🌶, soy sauce or tamarin for a gluten free option and lemon 🍋 juice.
3- put the mixture on the steak .
4- cook 👩🏼🍳 5- eat
Enjoy it with some rice or green beans, or a simple salad.

My only regret in life is not trying this flavor sooner. I’ve been eating halo top forever now, and I saw this and never tried it because I was into all the “more exciting” flavors and this one just seemed so basic. Let me tell you vanilla bean is such a classic and it’s amazing from @halotopcreamery !!

Confession Time!🤨 I Struggle!😱
I know most days it looks like getting up, working out, & striving to be healthy is easy.💪🏼 Certainly a healthy lifestyle is no more difficult to maintain than an unhealthy one when its routine. But it’s not w/o struggle, frustration, & disappointment.😔
What’s my greatest challenge right now?🤔 Not seeing the fruits of my labor!🍇 Wait, what? You mean my exercise & nutrition isn’t working?Exactly!😳 But why? Excellent question! The answer? Cymbalta & a long explanation on the biochemical effects on the body & brain.🧠 I take it for anxiety & have taken some type of medication for anxiety for a year & a half now.📆I’ve worked w/ multiple doctors to try different meds. I’ve reduced the dosing SIGNIFICANTLY under the watchful eye of the doc of course! I’ve even managed to stop the gain & reversed the upward trend but I’m still not where I want to be!🛑 But it could be a lot worse!🤨
What if I didn’t already have a healthy lifestyle?🧐 What if exercise wasn’t already part of my daily routine?🏊🏼♀️ What if I didn’t already know EXACTLY what I should be eating everyday?🥦 What if I decided to use the meds as an excuse to give up & quit?🤯 What if I lacked the self-confidence to let this setback define who I am?🤪 So the struggle continues w/ gratitude for all the healthy habits already in place!😇
I know I’m doing all the right things despite what the scale says.⚖️ I know I’m working towards a goal that I may never achieve as long as I have to take these meds.🥈 I’m not quitting because the alternative is completely unacceptable! I know the disappointment of failure & the frustration of having something out of my control.😟 But I am NOT a victim. I know how empowering it is to take control over those things I can control & to fill my head w/ positive thoughts leaving no room for the negative ones.😎 Most of all I’m grateful for the platform & opportunity to share what I’ve learned w/ you!

This is my GO-TO summer salad 🙌 It's fresh, it's filling, and it's delicious 😋 I pack it pretty much every single day for my lunch.
Here are the details:
- any salad packet (I mixed 2 together) - chopped chicken
- feta cheese
- strawberries - nut/seed mix from @traderjoes - creamy poppyseed dressing

Took it to the grill with some chicken thighs and asparagus, and then did some clean “philly cheesesteaks” out on my new griddle. Bison top sirloin chopped thin, bell peppers and onions sautéed together, and then topped it all with @bitchinsauce for a creamy yet totally clean (just nuts, vinegar and spices) finisher. Took a pretty picture, but then tossed it all together for that authentic cheesesteak effect.
Sometimes we all need a little help getting in the mindset for a workout, even when you can workout anywhere at anytime.

Fruits have somehow gotten a bad rep over the years because of carbs and sugars 🤦🏻♀️ but there are so many healing properties and benefits from fruits so they should not be avoided! I hear a lot from clients that they’ve eliminated a lot of fruits because of this “bad rep” but by cutting so many out, you’re missing out on so many positive things they provide! : -

Eating on the go can be healthy! I was on the road for work earlier and didn’t pack a lunch so I decided to get a quick bite from the Whole Foods salad bar. Filled my bowl with organic greens, grilled asparagus, olives, pickled red onion, quinoa, beets, roasted sweet potato and chicken. Easy, delicious and filled with real food. Remember to keep it simple and don’t overthink it 😉 Hope you all are having a fab Tuesday✌️

Had an amazing w-e on the countryside with some friends and a delish paleo dinner on Saturday 😋 What went down: paleo sweet potato/watermelon/cranberry salad, tuna/salmon/veggies skewers grilled on the bbq, mango cubes, homemade cold tomato/oignon/pepper/basil cold soup ☀️

Samedi soir c’était soirée bbq paléo à la campagne avec des amis 🤗 Au menu : salade de patates douces/pastèque/cranberries/graines, brochettes de thon/saumon/légumes, de la mangue, un gazpacho maison ☀️
🇺🇸 Cashew chicken & rice for dinner 🙌🏼 I couldn’t ask for more after a rough workout 😍 This was honestly one of the best dinners I had lately 🤤 and it took me literally 10mn to do it!

🇫🇷 Poulet aux noix de cajou et riz pour le dîner 🙌🏼 Je pouvais pas rêver mieux après l’entraînement 😍 Honnêtement c’est l’un des meilleurs dîners que j’ai mangé dernièrement 🤤 et ça m’a pris que 10mn à faire !
