BISCOITO DE QUEIJO - 1 1/2x de farinha de amêndoas, 4cs de manteiga derretida , 2cc de pisilium , 50gr de parmesão (usei de pacotinho), 50gr de mussarela ralada. Misture tudo até virar uma farofa. Acrescente um ovo, temperos a gosto e leve essa massa pra geladeira por uns 20 minutos. Depois é só modelar e assar.

I decided the bread wasn’t going to be filling enough - so went for my trusty oatmeal instead 😂 .

I seriously LOVE my warm oatmeal bowls - especially with nut butter 🤤 .

It’s one of my top two foods I missed most while overseas - the other being my lentil stew - which I still haven’t had a chance to make! 😟 .

Fear not! Use this list to help you stay on track.

🍳Eat a healthy, balanced breakfast and lunch. If you know you can’t control the party menu, at least you got it right for two meals.

💦Get a sweat in that day. You won’t want to erase all that hard work you put in by overeating.

🥕Eat a snack packed with fiber and protein to keep you satiated so you don’t go straight of the chips and dip at the party. Try some carrots and hummus or turkey lunch meat roll ups and an apple.

🍽Fill up a small plate with what you want to keep track of how much you’re eating. It’s easy to lose track when you’re eating passed apps or grazing straight from the serving platters.

🥒Parties will have beautiful crudite and fruit platters. Munch on a few pieces to avoid overeating the higher calorie foods.

⌛️Wait 10 minutes before going back for more - your brain is a few minutes behind your belly.

The past couple days I have been fighting that typical winter cold😷 giving my body a rest from lifting to recover is so tough when it feels like in just delaying progress...but truth is your body is under so much stress when fighting colds and adding more stress can cause way more harm than good. Took complete rest days the past 2 days and today I walked incline on the treadmill for 40mins. Focused on taking things slow today and adding in some stretching at the end. Feeling better and hoping to get to start back lifting tomorrow💪🏻

Crunchy Grilled Salmon wrapped in Hummus Cabbage Wheat Flat Bread^

Skin on Salmon Filet (3 inches wide)
Wheat Flat Bread
Classic Hummus
Shredded Cabbage
Finely Chopped Chives
Chopped Red Onions
1 Chopped Peperoncino Pepper 
Salt & Pepper
Lemon Zest and Juice
EVO oil

Instructions:

Grill Salmon Steak skin down (slice skin in three 2-inch slices previous to placing in oil) 6-8 minutes on medium low heat. ^

While salmon is grilling mix hummus, shredded cabbage, chives, red onion salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.  Season with salt and pepper. ^
^
After 6 minutes turn salmon over to flash grill, flash grill sides as well. Baste Skinside with oil and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice while flash grilling. Notice how crunchy the skin is. It’s delicious!!

Separate skin from Salmon and flake salmon. Center of Salmon should be nice and pink. ^
Spread Hummus mixture over flatbread. Add flakes salmon and crunchy skin. 
Roll up flat bread, slice in half and serve!!

Assim como frases do tipo “Tal alimento não pode” / “Cortei pão da minha vida porque com ele não emagreço”/ “Carbo engorda” e muuuitas outras coisas que ouvimos/lemos diariamente e que só servem pra causar uma coisa: FRUSTRAÇÃO 😢

E o motivo da frustração é simples: 
1-Quando te der vontade de comer o(s) alimento(s) “proibidos” e você for comer, você vai se culpar, se sentir mal e com sérios riscos de como já está “na merda” pensar: vou comer mais que se dane, já estraguei tudo mesmo... e comer pra caracaaaa!!! 😰
OU
2-Você vai se privar tanto da sua vontade de comer o alimento X que uma hora você vai comer até a embalagem do alimento, porque desenvolveu uma compulsão alimentar 😥

Today it's the stalks of the dock I collected on Monday evening in the dark along roadsides as we left Kenilworth after a nice day off out in nature.

Today for lunch: Mini sandwiches (1 Rye bread roll) with mustard and Stir-fry Entrecote Steak (thin slices) on top which seasoned with oil spray, green chili pepper, minced garlic, soy sauce, black pepper, white pepper and salt.
I added sliced cherry tomatoes, cucumber salad (dill, fennel, canola oil, lemon juice and salt) and sour beetroot salad (vinegar, salt and olive oil). Delicious!

~LUNCH~ Today for lunch: Mini sandwiches (1 Rye bread roll) with mustard and Stir-fry Entrecote Steak (thin slices) on top which seasoned with oil spray, green chili pepper, minced garlic, soy sauce, black pepper, white pepper and salt. I added sliced cherry tomatoes, cucumber salad (dill, fennel, canola oil, lemon juice and salt) and sour beetroot salad (vinegar, salt and olive oil).
