Pic on the left: May 23, 2018, still wasn’t really lifting much ⏩pic on the right was today after a KILLER back and bicep day (legs are still sore from Monday so I’m saving legs for tomorrow lol). Recently I’ve been in a major body positivity rut and I have not been very nice to myself. This week I have really tried to focus on just being kind to myself and my body. Something I’ve always really loved about my body are my shoulders and arms. It was honestly so exciting to see some progress between these pictures!! (Not to mention a tan💁🏼♀️) It may not be much, but I’m proud of it and I’m gonna keep building those shoulder boulders!! Progress takes time my loves and enjoy every tiny victory! Live your life in a manner that results in no regrets. Every decision, big or small, negative or positive. You can never go back and change the beginning, and we are destined to keep moving forward- so why waste your time looking back unless it’s to congratulate yourself on how far you’ve come? Regardless of your temporary emotion; the clock keeps ticking, the sun will still set, and you will keep going. This mindset is what saves me from succumbing to temporary struggle. I know that only I have the power to make the best of my setbacks. This is me over the last 3 years. I’m mentally and physically better than I’ve ever been, damn does it feel good. .
If you read this, go back and check out some pictures of yourself from the last 3 years. First you will notice your physical changes, but then think about how you’ve mentally changed. .

Hi!!! Who wants to squat? 😈🍑 Feelin like I’m ready to conquer the world after leg day...except for the minor deet that I’m unable to walk like I don’t have a large piece of furniture up my rump. Why do people feel the need to comment on other people’s looks/body type??
I felt the need to post about this because lately I have been hearing of this a lot! I have had many clients come to me who have naturally slimmer body types and what to start strength training. They want to get stronger and improve their overall health; however they tell me people are constantly saying to them “you are to skinny you don’t even need to workout” or “why do you workout so much, you need to go eat a burger” etc etc. After having discussions with clients, these words hurt and effect them. I find it horrible that people feel the need to comment on other people’s body types and what they choose to do with their body. The stigma that “skinny people don’t need to workout” is ridiculous. This comes back to the old belief that people only workout to lose weight. What about overall health? What about building muscle so we are stronger, prevent injury, improve energy levels, and just function better in life overall?? Oh and not to mention, some people actually enjoy working out and if they choose to do this in their free time then that’s ok.
There are so many body types in this world and just as much as it is hard for people to lose weight, it can be just as hard for some people to gain weight! I have worked with many clients who have wanted to gain weight and put on muscle. It’s a long hard road (sometimes harder than losing weight), but it’s possible.
This is a just a friendly reminder to be careful with your words because you don’t know what anyone is going through. If someone is working to improve their health be happy for them and don’t just tell them they “need to eat a burger”. Let’s cheer each other on and stay positive!!! To all my clients I have had this discussion with in the past few months - this ones for you....and I got your back! Keep doing you and building that muscle! We got this ❤️❤️💪🏼💪🏼

TRAININGSUMSTELLUNG Part 2
Meine Zielsetzung bleibt weiterhin, die Schultern aufzubauen und gleichzeitig eine Volumenzunahme an Beinen und Rücken zu vermeiden 🎯 Aus diesem Grund werde ich Muskeln, bei denen ich ein Dickenwachstum anstrebe, im Hypertrophiebereich trainieren. Die anderen Muskeln werde ich mit Maximalkrafttraining bearbeiten. Natürlich könnte man auch Muskeln, bei denen man keine weitere Volumenzunahme wünscht, einfach gar nicht mehr trainieren. Zum Einen würde mich das aber auf gar keinen Fall befriedigen (weil ich Training liebe), zum Anderen wäre der Tonus auf Dauer komplett weg 〽️ Für weitere Infos zu Hypertrophie- und Maximalkrafttraining siehe gestriger Post 🔙 Der Split wird flexibel sein, in etwa zumeist so:
Beine Fokus Front MAX
Schultern HYP & Brust HYP
Rücken MAX & Bauch HYP
Beine Fokus Rück MAX
Schultern HYP & Arme MAX
Mit dieser flexiblen Aufteilung der Muskelgruppen kann ich viel leichter mit Partner trainieren, wie z.B. gestern mit meiner lieben @artie_in_love oder meinem Schatz @murat.demir.elite.ifbb.pro und mehr Abwechslung in mein Training bringen als mit meinem bisherigen Ganzkörper Split ✅ Es war einfach - sorry für meine Ausdrucksweise - derbe geil nach Ewigkeiten endlich mal wieder die Beine ausgiebig zu bearbeiten, obwohl es eine kleine Herausforderung wird so schwer zu trainieren 🤩 Fragen, Wünsche, Anregungen, eigene Erfahrungen? I’m so ready for beanie weather 🤣 but then comes winter & I HATE winter! The shorter & colder days really mess with me mentally. Guys, as the days come, it’s going to start getting colder...imagine having to wake up EXTRA early to go start your car to warm it up for your drive to the gym? Or when you have to get back into your cold car for a drive home from the gym? #woof I mean I personally NEVER broke a sweat in the gym unless I was in the sauna for 15 min to burn those extra calories 🙄 just sayin that I can workout from my house, get better results than I’ve seen at the gym, & be done in 30 minutes. There’s no excuses. Ready when you are...but the again, nobody is ready...so start now. #linkinbio
