Soooooo... guess who placed ⭐️TOP TEN⭐️ out of 279 competitors in the BeachBody Classic?! That’s right... My guy, Brian, Did!
How did he get these results??? 80 Day Obsession and following its nutrition plan for the last 5 months! Amazing! Home workouts! Representing all the busy dads of Dallas!🙌🏼
He worked SO HARD! Feel free to congratulate him... he deserves it!
Day 22 - Full body mashup complete. What I’ve come to realize in this little experiment is that habits and routines give me freedom. Spending less time deliberating on whether or not to workout, meditate, say grace at dinner, journal, or even floss my kids teeth frees me up to do more. We erode so much good life simply sitting on the fence. If your on the fence get off of it and go get some.
Happy #flexfriday .
What a great way to finish off the work week by hitting some arms. Have to say it’s been a over week since I’ve done them and that’s just not acceptable. 😂
I’ve always been the one that will hit arms twice a week. To me I always wanted big arms. When I looked in the mirror and even to this day I still see what I call tooth pick arms.
I know it’s all in my head. People have told me otherwise, but when I’ve gone most of my life being underweight and just never happy with the way I’ve look I still see that skinny kid in the mirror. .
Just the life of a #hardgainer .
Swipe over to see one of my favorite workouts on arm day. I call them 7’s. I’m sure there is another name for it.
I use the ez curl bar with light weight. I’ll do 7 half rep up curls, then do 7 half Rep down curls, followed by 7 full curls. So 21 total reps per set. Doing 5 sets. I do this as a finisher so by the time you get to that last set you can barely lift the bar.
Preworkout - Alphacre HD w/ Alphasurge
Postworkout - Phormula 1, Ignition, w/ Creatine
No kid weekend! Been wanting to try @dallassmokyrose bbq in Lakewood. Cool area. Bbq needs some work. Maybe because we were there late. The deviled eggs appetizer was awesome! An the company @imready4ever was amazing! #carnivore
I gave it all up. It seems like only a few years ago when I was living with my mom as a teenager and having thoughts about how I one day wanted a motorcycle. The bike I had my eyes on at the time was a Katana (or as we learned to say “Can of Tuna” 😂.
Fast forward to my 30’s and my dream finally came true! I purchased my first bike, a GSXR 600. Just new to the bike scene, I started going to the track with my motorcycle club XXL M/C. Within 18 months, I upgraded to this beauty here, a Suzuki GSXR 1000. I fell in love with the track and after about a year, I got my race license. The competition was INCREDIBLE!! I was able to do things on that bike that truly surprised me! Then, in 2009 my son was born. 9 months later, we drove to New Jersey for a track day and it felt like my super powers were gone. I immediately gave up the sport... THAT DAY! I came home, sold my bike and never watched another #MotoGP race again.
My point to this whole story is this.... as fathers, our children should always be able to impact our lives in ways that make us pivot on a dime! I stopped riding because once I had my son, I realized the reward of riding would never outweigh the risk for me going forward.
Sooo proud of my husband @james_diab_rwbays for completing his marothon for @finnansgift foundation yesterday. Thank you @rwbays for putting on a successful event. It was not and easy 42 kilometres but with all the support from co-workers family and friends, he made it across the finish line. So we'll done!!!!! This just proves you are capable of anything you put your mind to.
So proud of these two little munchkins... Charlotte-Rose Ryan & Lillian-Rose Ryan put in hard work all season and both received the MVP award today for their age groups at the @southcoastna presentation finals.
So happy for them 🙂
