Workout time = me time 🧘🏻♀️
I did NOT want to do my workout today and I wanted to give up SO many times. I wish I could say “it was all worth it for the feeling of accomplishment at the end” or something equally motivational, but some workouts just suck. And you won’t always have the post-workout, endorphin-fueled mountaintop experience that makes you feel like you can take on the world. I certainly didn’t today. I just wanted to curl back up into bed and take a nap 😴
But I can say that I’m grateful to not have to worry about it tomorrow, so there’s that 😋

No workout today, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t active! Spent the morning tailgating 🍻 SU’s #homecoming & took laps around the parking lot saying hi to old friends and professors! Feeling so grateful for all the people I’ve had the chance to meet at this school & this place was the beginning of my transformation into who I am today! This school helped me open up & gain more confidence in myself & it’s also where I met my boyfriend 🤗 So many more memories were made today & I’d say a full heart beats a workout any day! 💚 Happy Saturday friends!! #MustangAlum

I was FINALLY cleared to start exercising again. I went on a walk and ran for little bits throughout. It was GLORIOUS. Per usual, there were all sorts of life out on the trail today. This little guy nearly gave me a heart attack, but he was pretty cute.
Ask yourself this.......are you happy from within? Do you practice self love and self acceptance? Do you exude confidence?......If you were to take away the ability to express who you are verbally and being able to voice your feelings through words, what would your body language say about you?......

Anoche nos fuimos a comer a @almacen_gourmet , (un restaurante de mi ciudad), y quedamos super encantados!
No solo la comida estaba exquisita, sino que también los precios son super económicos y la atención fue de 10👌
Yo me pedí un "emparedado veggie" que tenía muchísimas verduras, algunos aderezos y brotes de soja , acompañado de papas. Mi novio, se pidió pescado al paquete con salsa roquefort, papas noisette y ensalada de hojas verdes, y de eso no hay foto porque para cuando me acordé el ya se había comido la mitad de lo bueno que estaba😂 Además, después pedimos un postrecito que comimos entre los dos. Estaba todo MUYYYYY rico.
Por otro lado, les cuento que no es necesario pedir ensaladas o cosas "light" si queremos seguir cuidándonos cuando salimos a comer. Basta con pedir lo que tenemos ganas, comer despacio, disfrutarlo, hasta sentirnos saciados y si sobra, pedir que te lo envuelvan y ya tenés almuerzo para mañana! Y si quedaste saciado pero tenés ganas de probar algún postre, lo ideal es compartirlo! 😉

Not a typical saturday. After MANY weeks I managed to get out early and join the team (obviously I arrived late) but I can't remember when was the last time I had a morning of #swimbikerun 😊. I can't say I'm back...I've been doing almost no training and my hip is anything but ready. But I try, and in this new journey I'm learning to be flexible and to feel grateful for having the time to at least do something. It might not be perfect, and I might not do the whole workout, but I'll be sure to give all that I have in that precise moment. Hiting a 4'13 km today at the track💪 makes me feel with mom's super powers and reminds me to not give up.
Un sábado atípico. Después de MUCHAS semanas logré salir temprano y unirme al equipo (obviamente llegué tarde). No recuerdo cuándo fue la última vez que tuve una mañana de #swimbikerun . La verdad casi no he entrenado y al parecer mi cadera no está preparada. Pero lo intento, y en este nuevo viaje estoy aprendiendo a ser flexible, a sentirme agradecida por tener siquiera el tiempo para hacer algo para mí. Puede que no sea perfecto y que no haga todos los entrenamientos completos pero me aseguraré de dar todo lo que tengo en el momento. Hoy logré un km a 4'13 km en la pista lo que me hace sentir que las mamás podemos tener superpoderes y me recuerda que no hay razones para darnos por vencidos. 💪

Momin' ain't easy!! There are enough hard things in life! It’s been a TOUGH 2 weeks in our house and if you can’t tell this momma is EXHAUSTED. It’s moments like this I’m THANKFUL for my superfood mom shake. WHY well because on busy mornings like today where I have to run out of the house for a church meeting I know I’m staying on track. I know I’m keeping all the germs and sickness away and fueling my body with the best nutrients to keep me healthy. It’s keeping the cravings at bay and the urge to swing through Dunkin donuts or Chic Fila.
👉🏻 I am a 6 year Shakeology drinker and it's hands down my healthiest meal of the day and the one that I have to think least about.
👉🏻 You can call me a crazy shake drinker or one of "those" people! I don't mind!!
👉🏻But in the midst of all the HARD life throws at me at least I control the controllable when I can and I grab my shake for my daily vitamins and mom fuel and off I go!!

This morning as I was driving Sean to work and sipping on my coffee I looked over to him with a blank look on my face. I said “This coffee cup brings me back to one of the worst times in my life. It was back when I was in Minnesota, my eating disorder was worse than it’s ever been, I was surviving off of coffee, I was the heaviest I have ever been, and I was in a horrible depressed state. I would drink this horrible coffee in this exact cup after my long shift at the hospital just so I could muster up enough energy to workout but not enough that it would keep me up all night. This coffee cup honestly gives me PTSD.” I could distinctly taste my coffee that I use to drink just even though I was drinking pumpkin spiced coffee this morning just because I was drinking out of that coffee cup.
Have you ever had that happen? A song, a place, an object that brings you back? Back to a place where you can say you were probably in one of the most difficult and ugliest parts of your life but yet so thankful for the struggle. It’s made you who are today. .
Sometimes these objects (or whatever it may be for you) is not just a reminder of what you went through but is a symbol of the strength you developed through that struggle. .
As much as this coffee cup brought back horrible memories it reminded me the journey I have been on to get to where I’m at today. The struggle is part of the journey.

🔺A differenza del glute bridge (che si fa con le spalle a terra), nell’ hip trust le spalle sono rialzate (ad esempio su una panca ) permettendo così di aumentare il lavoro meccanico del gluteo dovuto ad un aumento del ROM.
