I’m so bummed about how shittily the #FitBit#ionic tracks heart rate while #swimming . 🏊🏻♀️ I guarantee I was in the #cardiozone for most of these 13 minutes! 💗 I last went for a swim back in February or April 🤦🏼♀️ but it felt great to get back in the pool today. Working on building my endurance back up so I can do more laps in 10 minutes AND get a much longer workout in. This is also excellent conditioning for #aerialsilks and #circusarts 🎪 when it’s not a studio day!
I’m legit dancing through the pain 😂😂😂 My puny arms can’t take it 😂😂 But I’m about to get BOMB results so you know I’m gonna stick with it. Plus I have my Fit Club girls to with. Even though we’re going to have to call each other because none of us can lift our arms to type. 😂😂😂 If you’re having FOMO because we seriously are having so much fun doing this..you can still join us 🤷🏻♀️
It is still mind blowing to me that I’m needing to use @myfitnesspal to make sure I eat enough 🤯 It was a struggle to reach as many consumed calories as I did today + without this app, I would have definitely been well under 1,000 calories today, which is obviously not healthy, especially with my exercise calories calculated in 😬
Took a walk to find a geocache. It didn’t turn out quite how I expected, but I did run into this art project. Back at the science centre and got lot of steps harvesting and planting these veggies and apples. #fitbit#mindfulwalking#osc
I am tired of NOTHING mainstream being inclusive of disabled people. Including this book.
In the past few days I've grown incredibly frustrated with #fitbit and #fitbitversa for not having any disabled exercise activity options. Apparently I've WALKED over 30,000 steps this week, but in reality I've walked under 400. I've ROLLED over 30,000 because my wheelchair gives me freedom.
I've downloaded an app where you get a phrase to work out, and the more you walk the more letters are revealed. Last night the phrase was "the only disability in life is a bad attitude." FUCK OFF! Stop erasing the very real barriers disabled people face in life and turning disability into a bad word.
Image ID: a book's page that says "walk as if you are kissing the earth with your feet" and the words are written in white, curly font on a page which is red and blue, but blurs together horizontally in the middle. Behind the book is a wheelchair's wheel on the floor. [End ID]
