I keep so many bottles of water on my desk. I need to constantly remind myself to drink more water. It’s so humid and hot in Vegas right now, so I really need to stay hydrated. .
Drink water 💧 because:
💧It tones your muscles.
💧It aids in digestion.
💧It fights bloating.
💧It flushes toxins out.
💧It stops you from confusing hunger and thirst.

Anywhats, today's post is all about your meal prep game!!! I got some questions about how I prepare my food and how I keep it interesting 🌮
1️⃣Take 1-2 days out of your week to meal prep all your food.
2️⃣Store it in large containers, and portion it out into smaller containers each morning for the day. ROMAINE CALM, YOU CAN STAY ON TRACK WHEN ON THE GO!
3️⃣When prepping, have multiple things cooking at once. Grill chicken, rice in rice cooker, veggies and potatoes in oven, and something on the stove. This way you cut time in half.
4️⃣Prep a variety of foods, so you don't get bored with meals and opt for fast food.
5️⃣You can also freeze premade meals for a rainy day when you completely forgot to prep. RAISIN THE ROOF ON YO MEAL PREP GAME YO!
6️⃣No frozen meals and no time to prep, ITS OKAY. Zaxbys and Chick-fil-A sell grilled chicken breast. Wendy's sells baked potatoes. The gas station sells cups of oatmeal and protein shakes. For all of you that know me, you know I love 💕 love 💕 Fashion. It has always been something I had a good eye for. So when I saw these sweet suits I had to get them. Plus I love 💗 anything pineapple 🍍 and you throw in hot pink and it a great combo.
I had been wanting to get one piece suit for a while BUT my reasons had changed.
I went to the beach a few weeks ago and wore a bikini 👙 but even at home I felt uncomfortable 😣 in it. When I got to the beach I felt embarrassed and ashamed I didn’t even take my dress off. I hated the way my body looked and I wanted to cover up so I could feel semi-normal.
Yes my journey has its ups and downs for awhile I was in a valley of my fitness journey and it was hard to share it because I didn’t want to feel like a fraud. But the truth is it all happens to us, we fall off the wagon BUT it’s what we do to pick ourselves back up that really matters most. It’s during those struggles we grow the most. .
So with my new program that I just started yesterday with my fitish community I made a commitment to myself to go all in and Love ❤️ MySelf again. I trust the road God has put me on and I know I am worthy of feeling strong & confident. .
So just know that you are not alone my sweet friend. 💋You can and you will pick yourself back up again. There is a light 💡 at the end of the tunnel. I am right here doing this along side you. 💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Sometimes no matter how hard we plan life is unpredictable. Almost no workouts and lots of crappy food was eaten on vacation. But it’s ok because I enjoyed the ish out of it. No regrets. But just because I had an off track week doesn’t mean I’m going to unpack and live there again. Don’t let setbacks keep you from reaching your goals.

Exhausted 😩 Feeling Happy 😊 This happened yesterday 🏃🏻♀️ I was a SWAT volunteer for my team NW Dream Chafers. It was certainly an experience. Mark it off my Iist. I’m still determining which that will be 🤪 I was lucky to work with some amazing volunteers that jumped in when it got insane. It was great to see the team I was representing with they ran through the exchange, especially my run tribe @woodlandfeary @wytri711 @wytri48 😘 .
Here are my winners and losers:
Winners: 1) all the runners today! You are amazing to do this in the heat and challenges that popped up along the way (re-routes, signage removed, crappy exchange flows) 2) All the teams that thanked the volunteers for their hard work because they understood we were all doing the best we could, but especially Team 12 Hotties and a Squatty Potty. Thanks for the Skittles and cold water and your cheerfulness it was much needed and appreciated at just that moment! 3) all the volunteers who kept working through the chaos trying to stay positive and cheerful, especially to the ham radio peeps at our exchange who didn’t have to help us out but stepped in! 4) to the SWAT “floaters” who came in and tried to assist 5) @californiaalmonds who provided me with this perfect little tin for my serving of almonds @blogfest. It fit perfectly in my fanny pack and thank goodness because that and water is all I had time for from 12-6 6) @bananaboatbrand whose travel spray sunscreen was a godsend 7) @brooksrunning because I needed my running shoes on today! and 8) @momentumjewelry whose motivation wrap reminded me why I was here....Peace Love and Run peeps!

Day 1 of LIIFT 4!

1 month of illness has me geared up and ready to get back at it! Since my 80 day obsession results I've been able to keep off 12 lbs! So I'm so pumped to see what I can do with LIIFT 4 and only working out 4 days a week and the optional cheat day!
I'm starting at 138lbs and 172.5 inches! Let the hard work begin 💪🏻💃🏼

Sorry if this offends you but …...Cheat days are bullshit! .
I don’t know, maybe you aren’t like me. Maybe you have master long term dieting and maneuver “cheat days” with ease. This was never the case for me. In my years of dieting I tried many times to incorporate cheat days or cheat meals. They always failed miserably. 99% of the time they lead to a full on binge and the other 1% of they time they lead to days of disgust and guilt that required excessive exercise to negate the “horrific” things I had done. .
The mentality of labeling foods as “good” or “bad” furthers this feelings. Food isn’t meant to be feared. It isn’t meant to cause anxiety. There isn’t “good food” or “bad food”. Sure there are foods that are more nutrient dense that offer more health benefits. And no, you can’t eat cake, cookies, and chips all day everyday. You do need to eat well 80-90% of the time. But for your sanity and to live a normal life you do need to enjoy treats from time to time. .
So what do you do? How do you live a balance life with food? No binging. No deprivation. No guilt. .
Enter in flexible dieting! The method that transformed my relationship with food. They way of living that taught me how to have balance and still get results! It’s a lifestyle. Not just some other quick fix.
