My first ever dance job(second row to the right) way back in the late 90’s with the incomparable Lilith Lacroix(aka Gareth Farr) at the exquisite Wellington Town Hall in front of 4000 screaming party goers! He launched my dance journey, did my formal dance training and never look back. Meeting him tonight again at his world premiere NZ Symphony Concert after 21 years later! *
one of the highlights of 2017🕺🏽💃🏽 This year has definitely been a humbling experience. Moved out here to LA about 8 months ago and it has not been a easy journey but I’m learning to enjoy the process. I’m believing 2018 is the year of manifestation for a lot of folk including myself, and there’s enough on the plate for us all...let’s eat.

CIRCA 03' Mom had just passed. I was In a very dark place. Wasn't even a self proclaimed industry dancer yet or desiring to be one. Rode with a friend to an audition. Sitting in the dome watching and waiting looking like a bum with my super baggy and hella faded sweats, 5 sizes too big white T and blue gap sweatshirt over it with a huge bleach stain smack dab in the middle of it. Choreographer ask if I'm auditioning. I basically tell him in a nice way I'm not a dancer. He ask can you dance. My response " I freestyle". He somehow gets me up and the rest is history. Worked with the greats on this and got called for promo spots not even a month later.
But most importantly @therealmaryjblige was God sent and the impact she left on my heart and spirit is more relevant today than it was then! I pray God shower her with even more favor for being that vessel!
After this moment in time I didn't return to the dance audition scene til 08'.... PURPOSE WILL PREVAIL🙏🏽 #FlashbackFriday#MaryJBlige#FirstDanceJob
