FRIDAY MOTIVATION: I remember not too long ago, after I had my son, I wanted to get back to life so fast, but it was like when I looked at myself in the mirror,  I didn't know who she was, my body was different than when I had my daughter, it was like the situation tripled, but then I had to constantly tell myself, it is only for a while, I almost made the mistake of thinking on the negative things only, but strength from above kept me sane and I pushed through it all, I have always been a positive person so I had to fight to remain that. For all the new moms out there struggling with their identity right now or feeling like life suddenly stopped, get rid of that feeling now, you are not the first to feel like that and surely won't be the last, enjoy your baby now, live in the moment, take a deep breath, because very soon when your life picks up again, you will cherish these moments, don't feel the pressure of social media snapback, take your time mama! Relax time reveals and heals all. I am sure every mom can write a book about their experiences. It's Low Carb Day for my FASTer Way to Fat Loss clients once again and this is what a #lowcarb day looks like for me.

I strongly encourage my clients to plan ahead so they can hit their macro goals for the day with confidence and ease. Eating ENOUGH is imperative for weight loss, fat loss, and overall health.

On low carb days we keep our carbohydrates below a certain number of net carbs, but as you can see, you can still enjoy plenty of vegetables and even fruit 😋 It's important to select produce with a high fiber content so as to not exceed the targeted net carbs for the day.

On the menu for me today:
3 egg scramble with spinach and kale
2 slices uncured applewood bacon
Half an avocado

Handful of walnuts

Chicken and mushroom in coconut wrap
1/2 cup organic strawberries 
6 oz grass fed beef 
Organic asparagus 
Cauliflower mash

Total for the day:
Protein: 98g
Fat: 121g
Carbs: 48g
Net carbs: 25g
Calories: 1647

I know it may sound ridiculous but I believe everyone needs at least an hour away from their phone, computer, tv, etc. Step away from technology and just take a break! Put your phone down or put it on silent. Distract yourself for one hour. Go on a walk, clean, take a nap, workout, read a book, etc. Do something that doesn't involve your phone! See how different you feel each day. You may be surprised. I always feel a little more relaxed after some "quiet time." 🤫

People confuse workouts. My client is going to be fasting this week coming up!  She messaged me about it. Asked what workouts that she should do. I told her that simple is better and mobility and stretching the body is more important when fasting. Not a workout. We have to do what is right for our lives.  I am training for Strong First. Others are training to do Olymipic lifts. Others train to to stay active. There are so many ways to train. And just because you see someone lifting heavy doesn’t mean you should. You have to find what fits your life. That is the important thing.

How do you keep yourself fit? Do keep diets? What do eat many people are asking me?
No, I don’t keep any diet except of eating healthy! In my house there are no chips, no junk food, i have stoped long time ago drinking all kind of soda and to drink packed juices (even freshly made orange juice I stoped drinking). I eat 3-4 times per day, for a year and a half was counting calories and taking care of the right proportions of protein, carbs and fats. That’s important when one wants to lose weight! You can follow any diet but you lose weight only because of the deficit of calories.
I go to the gym 3-4 times per week and lift weights! And I love doing it.
My body is looking better now as when I was 20!

🇬🇧 No running session as planned today 🙁 I planned a 15K run but I woke up with no voice and a beginning of a cold 😱 What should NOT happen when I am so close to the next race 😂! That won’t stop me from training 😝 #noexcuses I went to the gym instead and trained on a Wattbike (all treadmills were taken 😞). After 30 minutes of dying and sweating 😅 💦 (but great feeling in the end ) I could do a bit of Yoga 🧘🏽‍♀️. Next time I will not play in the rain with my son 😂 .

🇫🇷 Pas de course à pieds aujourd’hui 🙁 J’avais prévu un 15km mais je me suis réveillée sans voix et un debut de rhume 😱 Le truc qui ne doit PAS arriver si près de la prochaine course 😂! A la place, je suis partie à la gym (parce que c pas un mal de gorge qui va m’arrêter 😝) et j’ai opté pour le Watt bike (tous les tapis étaient pris 😞) Après avoir “mourru” 😅 pendant 30 minutes (bonnes sensations au final quand même), un peu de Yoga 🧘🏽‍♀️. Ben voilà, la prochainement fois j’irai pas jouer sous la pluie avec mon fils 😂. .

How do you keep yourself fit? Do you follow diets? What do I eat many people are asking me?
No, I don’t keep any diet except of eating healthy! In my house there are no chips, no junk food, i have stoped long time ago drinking all kind of soda and to drink packed juices (even freshly made orange juice I stoped drinking). I eat 3-4 times per day, for a year and a half was counting calories and taking care of the right proportions of protein, carbs and fats. That’s important when one wants to lose weight! You can follow any diet but you lose weight only because of the deficit of calories.
I go to the gym 3-4 times per week and lift weights! And I love doing it.
My body is looking better now as when I was 20!
