Had an equally fun day 2. Was able to turn out a personalized radio strap for Asst. Chief @bjvelez of Branchville VFC today. With that came an order for 30 full sets. Thanks again Chief. A pleasure to meet you and your guys. Looking forward to getting you all strapped up in the immediate future. 😉
What happens when there is a shooting, a bombing, a hostage situation, a terrorist situation? Any urban tactical situation, if it goes on long enough, 4 groups are called in. FIRE, EMS, POLICE, and MILITARY.
I feel like this level of cooperation between these 4 groups should have a designation especially in the new era of violence on American soil that has been happening more frequently. So I made one - The T. E. R. O. or Tactical Emergency Rescue Operator.
The Military started this way back in 1776. They started protecting life, liberty and pursuit happiness and over the years public safety has been added to that noble enterprise. I've decided I'm going to push this idea in a new line of products that shows we are all one team, protecting these ideals, under the same umbrella. We are all part of the Black Helmet Brigade. When needed, we will be there.
I don’t post often, but as posted by the department already, we got dispatched by ourselves in the middle of the night to investigate what somebody thought was just smoke in the area. We stumbled on to this. Clearly my partner and I weren’t going to knock this one down, so our Captain called for a full alarm right when we got there, turning in to multiple alarms. During that time, the 1st picture (video) is what my engineer saw getting out of the truck before grabbing his own supply and having water to us in immediately, 2nd pic is me running one of the two 2.5” lines down the street setting up one keenan loop for us, and another for the incoming medic truck to operate, 3rd pic is my partner firing up the deck gun, and off camera was my captain establishing command and pulling a line across the street to put out spot fires that started behind us at the neighboring houses. After that, 60-70 of our closest friends from around the city showed up and finished the job safely and efficiently. The last 3 pics are from other people. @chief_miller #fire#firefighting
