There's something about the Peninsula that just gets you hooked. I [Erin] think it's the beaches on the southern Peninsula, but living in Rye *might* have made me biased. ⠀
Oh, and working with brilliant businesses on the Peninsula and in Geelong – because catching the ferry to meetings in Gtown? Is a pretty cool job perk.
Gearing up for @debortoliwines Woodfired BBQ comp in a couple of weeks! #tbt to @dominator33 taking the ribs pretty seriously at our very first competition @meatmeetbbq in Horsham. #tbt#ribs#glazedandconfused
Lightly toasted oats, coupled with a variety of tropical fruits, coconut, maple syrup and selected spices. Sounds pretty good, right? It is.
Now, I’m one of those people who doesn’t particularly like muesli with milk. Which sounds weird, i know, but I really like my cereal to be crunchy, and I spent a big chunk of my late teens and early 20s living off dry cereal from the box (I was perpetually broke and being lactose intolerant and allergic to soy meant there were very few milk choices that didn’t upset my stomach in the late 90s and early 00’s) so now if i DO eat cereal, it’s with as little milk as possible.
So it was dry cereal 90% of the way for me.
At least it was until the meal prep photo craze hit a few years back and I discovered cereal and yoghurt was a thing. This opened up a whole new world for me. A crunchy, yet calcium rich world, where I could portion out containers of delicious cereal and sweet, creamy yoghurt (which was less likely to leak in my handbag than milk was- and trust me, that has happened on more occasions than i’d care to admit) and have my breakfast at a more reasonable, post coffee 11am.
So of course, once I realised this was a thing, i had to find the perfect muesli. Which was impossible because EVERYTHING had something gross in it, or was the equivalent of 1/8th cup of fruit/nuts vs 1kg of oats. Which sucked on so many levels. So I made my own. Suck on that, fruit hoarding cereal companies.
If preserved lemons are not currently part of your culinary repertoire, I hope @fionahammondfood's recipe inspires you because they are such a fantastic ingredient that bring a gorgeous vibrancy to all sorts of dishes. Celebrate the last few weeks of the season with this tasty winter salad. Warning! You might find it quite difficult to stop eating! .
Find the link to the recipe in our bio, and ingredients - like preserved lemons, radicchio and D'anjou pears - in the farm gate shop 🙌
Our new 16-Metre poultry fences keep your flock safely contained in an easily managed range area. No more holes in your lawn, damaged turf or eaten vegetables and flowers! It comes with a gate so that you can easily enter/exit the enclosure and it's simple to move around and re-anchor with push-in pole spikes.
The electrified kit version of the fence (minus the 12-volt battery), means that going-out on the weekend no-longer requires you to rush home to lock your chooks away to beat the ever-lurking fox.
We also stock a 50-Metre electric poultry fence, ideal for larger flocks of chickens on larger land.

A cocktail to warm up your Thursday...
Golden Apples Of The Sun is a cocktail I designed with the @polperrowines team. The flavours are infused whilst heated and a teabag infusion creates an intense spiced flavour. Its like mulled wine on a winters day with a lot more class.
Featuring calvados, apple & chestnut liqueur, fresh apple juice & spices
Tix are now on sale for Vinehop (17–18 Nov) – the festival that brings together some of the Mornington Peninsula’s top beer, wine and cider venues – without the headaches of maps and designated drivers.
Mix it up with beer, wine and cider options, or stick to one of the three? Any which way, you’re in for some award-winning drops, festival director Lisa MacGregor tells OHO.

After 4 weeks of renovations we finally reopen our doors today at 10am. Congratulations to @mardiclaire on her renovations. Come down and check out all her hard work. She’s done an exquisite job. .
Gorgeous girl holding a gorgeous bunch of white turnips. We are especially loving the turnips’ tops sautéed with onion. One customer recommended last week turning the tops into pesto! 😋 We’ve picked plenty more bunches for the farm gate shop that’s back open today through until Monday! 🙌
OH HAI 💁🏼♀️

The Mornington Baseball Club is doing a call to arms.
One of their young Pirates; Ceb is in the fight of his life after sustaining critical injuries in a shocking accident and is currently in the intensive care unit.
As I'm sure you are aware, there are many costs involved for Ceb's family at this time, and as such, the club are organising a fundraiser/raffle over the weekend.
We will be donating a hamper to go into the raffle, and ask any fellow local businesses who are in a position to do so, to contact the club and organise a donation of your own.
Every little bit helps x
This is our new stir-fry mix, made up of delicate leaves including Asian greens. As its name suggests, the mix is perfect to stir-fry or sautée. Bursting with goodness and flavour - freshly picked today for the farm gate shop that reopens tomorrow (Thursday), 8am - 6pm. 💪
The afternoon sun through the trophy winning wine at the 2nd Australian Pinot Noir Challenge. ⠀
I had such a wonderful two days working with and learning from @psrich @chatto_wines @sarah.scarecrow @bassriverwinery There’s nothing quite like tasting 250 Australian Pinot Noir over two days to really understand the regions and appreciate the quality that Australia is producing. An incredible experience. ⠀
