Training a lovely client this morning and then it was time for me to do a steady 5k... I thought I would do something just to get my legs going again after my 13.6 mile run on Sunday and I’m not kidding this was one of the hardest 5ks I’ve ever done!! 😱My legs still felt quite tired - I felt like I was dragging lead weights around with me! Yaassss 🙌🏻🙌🏻 thought I’d try out a half marathon this morning - I’ve ran 20k before but never a half so I wanted to see if I could actually go the extra K and a bit and what time I could do it in and I’m really pleased with that result. In my head I was thinking if I could just go for 1 hr 45 then thats pretty good so to get this was a nice surprise. I mean don’t get me wrong it was flipping hard and I really pushed the last couple of K but feel great down. Sometimes I reeeeally don’t feel like going to the gym, but I always feel a million dollars afterwards. Venting frustrations of the day, or the troubles in your life. I don’t ever remember a time when exercise wasn’t in my life, but I make more time for it now I’m older. I want to do the best for my body and I want to be able to enjoy the gin, wine, cake, cheese that I eat. 
So, make time for exercise, it will always go in your favour 👊🏼💪🏼 My workout today (I am in no way an expert, lots of classes and help from others improves my knowledge on what does what): 0.8 mile run to the gym 
3 sets 10 squats - no weight
Dynamic stretches to warm up the hips 
3 sets 10 weighted walking lunges
3 sets 10 weighted squats
5 sets 10 Romanian deadlifts (increasing weight each set)
2 sets on each leg - single leg deadlifts 
10 minutes cool down on the bike
5 minutes of abs (always had enough by this point) 
Stretching and foam rolling
Took an hour and 10 minutes. Bosh! #ificanyoucan #shouldhavebeenaPT
