As the #NJWebFest is here in #Seoul , celebrating #webseries , we got word that the Writers Guild has honored the pioneer of #webfests , our mentor and supporter, #MichaelAjakwe ❤️ So well-deserved for a man whose contributions to so many are countless! Michael was the inspiration for our founder @neem_basha, as well as the founder of our partner @seoulwebfest, and so many others to start our #digitalseries festivals. We are still saddened by his early departure, but we are thrilled to see that he is being remembered as the legend that he is. #ThankYouMichael
Just announced! Our 2018 Opening Night Film the ravishing, Cannes selected slasher KNIFE + HEART.
Shot on 35mm and featuring a killer retro score from M83, Yann Gonzalez’s KNIFE + HEART is an ultra-stylish and blood-soaked ode to ’70s-era De Palma, Argento, and Friedkin. The kills are impeccably staged and gruesome, the performances are campy and spot-on, and the whodunit twists are relentless. Take note, slasher and giallo fans: This will be your new obsession.
We had a great time screening Paul at Hollyshorts last night! It was great to get the chance to share the film with an audience and to watch the rest of the exceptional films in the program. Thanks to Catherine Kresge-Kang, and Maxine and Kathy Sutton for coming out to represent!

In 2010, Taiji, a sleepy fishing town in Japan, suddenly found itself in the worldwide media spotlight. The Cove, a documentary denouncing the town’s longstanding whale and dolphin hunting traditions, won an Academy Award and almost overnight, Taiji became the go-to destination and battleground for activists from around the world. @AWhaleofaTaleFilm reveals the complex story behind the ongoing debate. Through the point-of-view of a wide range of characters including fishermen, international activists and American journalist (and longtime Japanese resident). This powerful documentary unearths a deep divide in eastern and western thought about nature and wildlife, raising questions about cultural sensitivity in the face of global activism..
Last month I had an interview with a modeling agency. I only had a handful of photos to show my experience as a model, so I never heard anything back.. Today they offered me a contract and I signed it.. I just wanna speak on the power of manifestation.. I'm not religious but I am spiritual, & I have a pretty deep understanding of how this YOUniverse works. Most people let life happen to them. Truly happy people create the lives they want to live. I was happy EVEN THOUGH I never heard back from them. I was happy when I didn't land that recurring role on FOX TV last month and I was happy when I didnt get that $3,000 commercial last week, & it's because I know there will ALWAYS be more opportunities. Every opportunity I see, I'm swinging for the fences. I may miss every now & then, but when it connects, its gonna be a homerun every time. Today, I handed over a solid portfolio & they signed me. I was already signed to a reputable Acting Agency where I can pursue my dream, but NOW, I'm signed to a Modeling Agency where I can chase a check to occupy my free time when I'm not on set. I'm out here gettin it in every way and the only energy I'm putting out is GRATITUDE. If you know anything about the Law of Attraction, you know that's what it takes. Be grateful for what you have and it will come back 10 fold. Y'ALL WILL see me on TV.. Y'all WILL see me on the big screen & NOW---Y'all WILL see me on that magazine in your mailbox. Just give it some time to let the pieces fall in place.. Shout out to my support system..my parents, mi amorre Eri, my brothers--my family..& to everyone who has given me an opportunity to learn & try something new. Thank you @miles_models for the opportunity of a lifetime, this is the beginning of a great relationship. Also Thanks to the people that have been watching me flourish but have yet to offer me an ounce of encouragement. You will be forgotten😬..keep that energy from around me..lol.. also I wanna officially welcome my shooter📸 to the team. She may not know it yet but @keeek101 is now my official photographer..lol. NOW, if you want something, get off your ass and go get it because IT'S MUTHAFUCKIN YOURS TO TAKE!!! 🖖🤘✌

#theundetectedseries is an action packed thriller drama about a National Security Agent who is trying to find the truth about The Omen Seven or by their alternate alias -The Undetected- that lurks in the shadows. Who can you trust? Well that’s simple... Trust no one..
Strength: Cinematography, Screenplay, Directing
Movie rating : 7.8/10
Director : Alfred Hitchcock
Echoed strongly by cult whispers, The Birds mystified me with the consistent harnessing of its place in the thriller genre. Hitchcock certainly is the master of suspense, being able to perfect the formula for the character build up and mystery. For someone who has seen a wide variety of storyline and twist within the same genre, i still fall for the Hitchcock bait ; confounding, perplexing and borderline hoodwick, the breadcrumb trail leads me to an unchartered course where i am unable to predict what's in store for my senses. The Birds had the Hitchcock concoction driving me fully intrigued about some of the characters, aside from the bird phenomenon. The storyline came very potent and hypnotic delivering me to a restless journey, which i enjoyed, but only to be dissapointed in the end. Having that said, i now officially declare that i find The Birds' ending more of the film's liability than strength. It dragged down what should have been a glorifying moment amd deprived the film of a due credit as one of the legitimately significant films of all time. The story centers to the encounter of Melanie Daniels with Mitch Brenner and upon getting smitten tracks Brenner down to Bodega Bay where she meets the unusual phenomenon. Tippi Hedren played satisfactorily as Melanie Daniels who's presence and character effectively locked in my full attention to the film. Cinematography is noteworthy having to come from a Hitchcock touch ; Stunning, Stirring and Enigmatic. The whole reel deal came very easy for the sight reinforcing the quality sensory experience. I would agree that The Birds is a cinematic treat, meritorious of a good screening credit. However, expectations about this film should not be set in parrallel with other suspense -horror-thriller genre as the story turns subordinate to the other films lacking startling elements expected of its genre. #TheBirds#AlfredHitchcock#film#films#filmreview#filmreviews#filmfestivals#cinephile#filmnerd#filmgeek#cinephilecommunity#filmbuff#filmcritic#movie#movienight#moviejunkie#movienerd#moviefan#instamovie#i
You should probably ignore the toilet in the background 😂 *
Did I really leave Cali? Yup! *
Am I going to miss the weather?! Of course, especially during NYC winters! *
Why would I leave LA if I’m pursing film?
Because I’m a LA native and need to know what it’s like to live some where else to gain a different perspective on life. *
I’m looking forward to learn the difference between West Coast and East Coast living 😍.
