I'm now back on my slimming world mission to achieve the picture on the right again. The aim is to drop 4 stone, this is a fresh start with a plan I know works!

It's national baking week and I've made my no bake Vanilla energy balls. 
What's your go to snack in busy times? Do you ever get hangry? 😄 "I haven't got time" can be a valid reason for not cooking or baking but it doesn't have to be a reason to eat junk 
Energy balls are my answer to those busy times they tick every box especially the hangry one . 
It doesn't take long just a mix of a bit of protein powder, nuts and dates is enough . 
These ones are walnuts, dates, ground almonds with some vanilla essence and dessicated coconut. They work as a needed healthy snack and a healthy sweet treat.

Then it was time for the starter and I chose the mixed kebab which consisted of a sheesh kebab, shami kebab, onion bhaji and vegetable pakora. Then it was the main course, which I barely managed to make a dent in - chicken tikka biryani with a naan bread, lentil daal and biriyani sauce.
