Filipino breakfast at @servedlv in #GreenValley . This #Henderson hot spot has an extensive breakfast and lunch menu with items like the Korean Spicy Pork Bulgogi Benny, Tempura Bacon Pancakes, Peruvian Lomo Saltado, BiBimBap, Salmon Panang, and sandwiches that can get the truffle parm nugget upgrade. Peep the menu at servedlv.com and plan your next 8 visits. 😛
What you’re looking at is a plate of itlog (fried eggs), sinangag (garlic fried rice) and tosino (cured meat), in other words, a Filipino breakfast. I ordered the Tosilog special featuring really delicious pork. The service, as you’d expect from any Filipino place, is as welcoming as the food. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to wake up in a Filipino home for breakfast, BBs Diner is a good choice. Oh, it’s also cash only. @bbsdiner
#Tosilog in many steps. I usually buy #tocino frozen, so when I saw some fresh ones, I grabbed some. I also had leftover rice from my poke bowl last night and fried that up with some (a lot) of garlic. And a Tosilog isn’t complete without itlog or egg. I’m excited to dig into #breakfast . #filipinobreakfast#yum
Breakfast bowl looking like a bibimbap. Except for my betterhalf- kimchi, the rest are components of our Silog and all of the familiar ones- Beef Sirloin Tapa (semi dry to dry pan fried soy marinated beef strips) and Chicken Tocino (savoury caramel chicken). All are proudly home-made, with natural ingredients. 😉 Fixed my bowl with cherry tomatoes, coriander and HBE, S&P and some hot sauce. Thanking my trusty organic eggs vendor from Legaspi Weekend Market for bringing the good things almost at my doorstep, and at a fair price at that- 180/ dozen- 20 pesos cheaper than the grocery and absolutely fresher. 😊 Anyway, lets? #breakfast#breakfastideas#silog#filipinofood#filipinobreakfast#homecooking#weekend#weekendcooking#foodie
This stunning spread. The pancake flight including their famous ube pancake in the middle and the mango pinã to the left and the buko pandan to the right and that tap-silog breakfast paired with a beautiful cup of barako black coffee. #perfectbreakfast
Sometimes a good breakfast can consist of only 2 basics like this Silog (Sinangag at Itlog) and then just add you extra protein of your choice 😉🍳 I can't wait to restore the backyard and make an awesome chicken coop. I really miss those good times where we wake up in the morning and go straight in coop to check for some fresh eggs. 🥚🍳
