...so, I had to google this. Did you know that studies report the average millennial spends between 1 to FIVE hours per WEEK on “selfie duty” (which can include anything from snapping photos to retaking and editing)??!!

Discipline is a choice.
It really is simply choosing IN THE MOMENT to take action towards what you want most OVER what you want RIGHT NOW.
In a culture where we want things instantly, we've lost a little bit of what it takes to wait it out for our goals and for what's best for us. We want instant gratification. I know I do! What FEELS good often times trumps what is uncomfortable.
But it's in those uncomfortable moments that we are stretched, we grow, and we develop discipline.
Would I have rather stayed in bed this morning? In the moment, yeah. But I knew last night that for today to roll right, I would need to get up before everyone else, have my quiet time (and coffee!), and get my workout in before cheer carpool and Super Saturday! .
Especially as a mom when our 'to do' list is NEVER done, it feels so good to finish and accomplish something. That's where my 'discipline' of working out comes in. Even when in the moment if I don't want to put forth the effort, I know the discipline I put forth will be rewarded in the long run.
