Tonight we attempted a family outing to the Parade of Lights. I think we’ll wait a few years until we go again. Nothing ever goes as planned with a 2 and 5 year old. 🙈#pleaseleaveyourmittenson .
On another note, 2 more sleeps until the Black Friday Sale launches! Noonish- Monday on the website! Over 20 suits, comp jewelry and accessories. Not bad for a one woman show! 🙌🙌🙌

There's a few places that make me feel the happiest and the most at peace.
. 1 Beside my love. 2 With my family in Melbourne and 3 On stage. .
I think about it every day and I although I get so impatient sometimes I always know I need to step back and just enjoy the process and the journey and keep taking it slow but still grinding on the daily. .
Judges feedback from the nationals was really awesome, good posing, shape and symmetry, I just need to keep building some muscle to be more competitive. That's exactly what I plan to do now .. 🙏🖤
Five years ago I took my first step on stage as a Figure Athlete. I had a vision and a rather large goal but I surrounded myself with a team that believed in exactly what I did and together we conquered. Next week I will step on the same stage with an even bigger goal and an awesome team. This journey has been a long one but I have learnt so much about myself along the way and am proud of myself. I cried, laughed, doubted, talked to myself 🤪, cried some more and hustled hard. Looking back and this picture makes me smile and reminds me how much I love the journey to a dream. PEAK WEEK 💁🏼♀️ 🔥💪🏼#burntbarbie#teamberlin#journeytothestage#backstage
Double tap if you crushed the gym today 🏋🏻♀️
To be honest it's been hard to find my motivation lately! It's very cold and dark here in Nebraska. The winter drains me hardcore! But I feel like I'm getting back in my groove! We had a few sun rays and it helped tremendously! Also an unexpected compliment on the physique by the BOSS gave me an extra little boost! By the end of the day we all struggle with motivation and dedication at times but it's what you do at those times. You either quit or you force yourself to stay on it as best as possible! I also struggle a lot with my arm in the cold months you'll see me struggle with it in the gym but the important part is that you still see me getting it in though. Through pain and struggle!
Changing your body composition takes TIME. I gained 60 lbs while pregnant with both boys. I nursed 2.5 years for a total of 5 years. It typically takes my body 3 years to work it all off. The middle picture is 3 years after having my youngest son. I’ve lost 4 babies to miscarriages & typically gained 10 lbs during those pregnancies. I never dieted. I started lifting 5 days a week on top of teaching Zumba after my youngest was born. Over the last 6 years I worked hard to change my body composition to what it is today as a figure competitor. Be persistent. Losing body fat & replacing with muscle takes years. Time. Persistence. Effort. It DOES not happen overnight or by magic. It is daily work to get there, then stay at the maintenance weight. This is my first year competing as a figure competitor. I did my own nutrition & training & i can’t wait to personally train you to get you to whatever fitness goal you’ve got. #trusttheprocess#fitnessmotivation#bepersistent#keepgoing#believeyoucan#dothework#dontbodyshame#dontjudgeothers#iunderstand#iknowhowharditis#bodytransformation#figureathlete#nationals#cvfo#personaltraining#bodybuilding#strongwomen
