I've learned with experience that the most meaningful way to start my day is with a grateful heart. That first initial moment of gratitude always makes a world of difference in my attitude. Oh, and it doesn't hurt to also enjoy a yummy bowl of chia oats topped with yogurt swirls, perfectly ripened figs and chia seeds. Happy Wednesday, my Lovelies! Gratitude is the word! Again with the #figs . They are still ripe here and the shelf life is pretty dismal, so using them up quickly is of highest priority. They are great tossed into a salad, or eaten out of hand...but they are simply divine as a baked treat.
These financiers are easy to bake off in small tins or paper cups, or make a larger cake in a shallow tin. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
