I love monkeys, our primate cousins. The more you learn about them, the more you step outside human arrogance and begin to understand the uninterrupted continuum of being. .
Buckle your seatbelts because the Monkey has frenetic and fast-paced energy, ingenious ideas, and a lot of cheek, which puts everything into flux. Just about anything can happen – for better or for worse. Collective action may devolve into chaos but individual efforts are rewarded under Monkey’s guidance. For the individual, the Monkey medicine is about breaking free of stale patterns and overthrowing old conventions and accepted wisdoms about yourself. Replace “I can’t” with “I just might” and you will find that Monkey’s energies are supporting these changes.
As such, Monkey will encourage you to take calculated risks, follow a heart’s desire, and dare to think outside the box you have put around yourself. Now is the time to start new endeavors – personal, business, or otherwise, for they are destined to succeed under Monkey’s influence. The monkey embodies creativity, innovation, and developing one’s unique gifts. Embrace your wildest schemes and ideas, have the courage to be inventive, and therein lie the seeds of a success you hadn’t even planned for. In short, the Monkey tells us to “Run with it! Don’t look back and don’t second guess!” Not for nothing, but I started Rising Phoenix Arts in 2016 - Year of the Monkey.

Feng shuiing. Decluttering. Burning sage. Funny how a new garage door is creating a change in the whole house. Feng shui is an ancient art and science that was formalized over 3,000 years ago in China. In literal translation feng means "wind" and shui means "water." In Chinese culture, wind and water are associated with good health, thus good feng shui came to mean good fortune.
Some elements of Feng shui practice date back at least 6,000 years, and it contains elements of various branches of scholarly study, including physics, philosophy, astronomy, and astrology. It is related closely to the Taoist vision and understanding of nature, particularly the idea that the land is alive and filled with Chi, or energy.
Feng shui is sometimes thought to be the art of placement—understanding how the placement of yourself and objects within a space affects your life in various areas of experience. It is a complex body of knowledge that teaches us how to balance and harmonize with the energies in any given space— #fengshui#fengshuilifestyle#fengshuiliving#clearspace#clean#declutter#naturefeedsmysoul#beautiful#beautifulspaces#sage#sagespray#burnsage#clean#cleanhouse
