What I am saying is probably unpopular, and will rub some #Feminists the wrong way, but here goes...
Let the man - your husband - choose YOU.
The Bible says "he who finds a wife...", and I think there's an implication here.
Woman, if you CHANGE so that he will accept you, then it is YOU who chose him, and not him who chose you... Let him choose you, as you are, he will CHERISH his choice. It doesn't mean you shouldn't make efforts to be the best version of you...just don't try to be someone you are not. No one can keep up a lie for a lifetime...
And when he chooses YOU as you are, you will feel safe, secure and empowered to be wholly yourself and love him in return for appreciating WHO you are.
Shake Up Your Pre-Workout Routine
Date: Wednesday, October 03
No matter what level athlete you are, it’s important to structure your day around your workout. An important, and often overlooked, part of a daily exercise routine is the pre-workout phase.
Think of your body as a car. It’s important to have fuel in the tank before starting the engine and hitting the road. Just as you’d check the gauges on your dashboard before a trip, you should consider your body’s goals before each workout. It’s important to:
Top off glycogen storage/raise blood sugar
Support healthy blood flow
Consider “filling your tank” an hour before your workout with a Pre-Workout Formula 1
Last week, I had the honor of representing the @EqualityLeague's advisory council at their first reception (hence the flower in my fro) and I got to meet a whole bunch of inspiring women. The conversation of the night was about how EQL is going to be one of the leading organizations in global human rights and sports.⠀
Two women who I talked to that night really stand out to me in these pictures.⠀
First, Nancy Hogshead-Makar: Olympic gold medalist in swimming and sports human rights lawyer. I interviewed her at the Players' Tribune and it's always amazing being around her light (and her superb photo editing skills lol). She's helped to defend many athletes in the #MeToo era and helped to pass the Safe Sport Act.⠀
Second, Judge Rosemarie Aquilina (in the center): the judge who sentenced Larry Nassar in the USA Gymnastics sex abuse scandal.⠀
I'm so grateful that I get to be surrounded by such incredible and highly influential women and men.⠀
Uh here's a small introduction ig: I'm 15 I'm queer but where I live that's like not super legal so🤭 and I started this page because I feel like we should all strive to make a difference using our privilage so yeah
Honestly people behaving like this is absolutely disgusting like imagine being a minority and experiencing racism and prejudice and still inflicting the same racism and prejudice on other minorities,,,, also I was talking to my friend about thsi today and I'm like "honestly this stereotype is so idiotic too the only people who eat cat are lesbians" and it took her so long to get I didn't even get to add the "I would say straight men but dj khalid exists"
This is ridiculous that we as women even have to put up with the simple things that just aren’t fair that are normalized by men because they have always done it and even now we still struggle every day so if we want change we need to keep working at all of this ten times harder so men get ready and you should be happy we just want equality and not sweet payback #feminists#thisisnotconsent#thishastostop#no#feministaf#stopnormilization#metoo
Let it all go, let’em go.
All of you will always remain in my heart, you have been part of my life and you are part of my soul.
Now, however, it’s time to close with my past.
A real big hug, with all my heart to those who positively and negatively have been part of me, thank you.

in 2012 I was in eight grade when we were put into lock down during the final period of the day, at first we thought it was a drill, we didn’t take it seriously and went to sit against the wall of the classroom. 40 minutes passed and the end of the day bell rang but we were still in class, no announcement, no one knew what was happening, it reaches almost a full hour after the final bell rang when we’re finally let go and able go home. my friend and I were going to meet another friend who went to a different school in our town so we headed towards it while we walked the streets were littered with police, police cars, swat vans zoomed down the streets. my friend and I being very scared by this went to my grandmothers house that was near by. when we got there we saw the news, that 20 children were shot and killed. it felt my heart drop, at the time my youngest cousin was in kindergarten just like those children were.
the shooting didn’t take place where I lived but the man who did this brother does/did live in my town at the time and with fear that he would come to kill his brother next or hit one of the schools along the way before they found that he killed himself.
from then on I always thought of “what if” what if he came to kill his brother? what if he decided to hit another school along the way?
WE NEED BETTER GUN CONTROL. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. It should have been enough with the Columbine shooting.
How many children have to die? how many mothers and fathers have to be taken away? how many people have to loose their loved one before there is a change? We are the voices of this generation. don’t ever let anyone make you be quiet!
Remember these cuties? You heard them separately, but on this week’s podcast Michael and Stearns talk about their open relationship: how it started, how other people feel about it, and why they have no shame in their game.
What a weekend! @sfsbkcongress lived up to the hype! Congrats @engelsvar @phuong_sf @maomambo for the successful event! I took a challenge with the queen herself @karelflores, her unapologetic approach to instruction really pushed me out of my comfort zone and left with renewed approach to my practices. My whole body hurts because she put us to WORK but it was worth every second and I got to spend all that time with my teammates @teamkfsf! I'm beyond exhausted but left with a smile on my face thinking about all the moments and amazing social dances right down to laugh cries we had in our packed hotel room and am thankful for the community around me that keeps me passionate about the dance 💃 Can't wait to do it all over again in Reno! #karelflores#flowerpower#salseras#feminists#kfsf#empoweredwomenempowerwomen#teammates#kfworld#kfarmy
