Welcome back to #tattootuesday .
This week I am highlighting tattoos that have been created on women that have experienced #breastcancer as a way to highlight #breastcancerawareness and ways that #tattooing really is far reaching!
As an MSW student, I worked with women that were experiencing #breast and #ovariancancer .
One woman in particular had just had a breast removed and there were concerns about her cancer #metastasizing
During our session, she had spoken about how she felt less #feminine and that losing her breast had been quite a traumatic experience both physically and with regard to her #mentalhealth .
During our work, she explored the option of tattooing on her breast to ‘recreate’ her #nipple . .
She decided to move forward with having her breast tattooed and after consulting with the artist, they decided against a nipple and did a #floraltattoo instead. .
I will never forget the next appointment at my office. She walked in absolutely beaming and #confidence was exuding from her. She had found a way that worked for her to regain her #femininity and feel closer to her old self. .
This post is meant to highlight awareness for breast cancer and for how tattoos can carry so much power to them to the individual that wears them. .
I was lucky enough to be a part of that woman’s journey and see first hand what it did for her. .
If you are a woman, please go get checked regularly. Help show #men in the month of #movember how to take care of their health by #leadingbyexample .
To all those touched by breast cancer, my heart goes out to you and do not hesitate to reach out for support when you need it. There are many resources available for both families and patients as well as screening. Let’s work toward a world that is cancer free and these #tattoos are no longer necessary!
Please comment or tag someone you care about who has breasts and you are thinking of after reading this.
“The radiant glamour of this supreme sexual personae ( #Nefertiti ) comes to us from a palace prison, the overdeveloped brain.” #CamillePaglia
-Sexual Personae p67 Birth of the Western Eye
Throughout the book Paglia explains how our western culture has been trying too hard to suppress femaleness in order to achieve Apollonian ☀️ ideals.
Those ideals are logic, order, boundaries, hierarchy, uniform, and purity. This means driving our Dionysian 🐐 impulses of fluidity, emotionality, enthusiasm, nature, and sex underground. 🎭
The bust of Nefertiti was the celebration of her greatness as a female, but through the filter of male sensibilities. #AncientEgypt#History#Femininity#Masculinity#Pagan#Sexuality#Art#Decadence#BookClub#Philosophy 🧞♀️What are your thoughts??? 🧜🏽♀️This book is very high level thinking and if my interpretation is off I definitely would like to know🤗✨

When creating this Crystal grid I was very drawn to Malachite 💚. Sometimes I am not always sure why I am drawn to specific crystals but my understanding of Malachite and the sacred pattern Sri Yantra is that they are both complimentary of transformation, manifestation and change. The Green crystals are beautiful and also remind us to open our heart Chakra to receive love.
During creation Lapis Lazuli 💙 was the perfect Crystal to compliment the Malachite. The Blue crystals help us to find our true destiny and divine purpose, they promote self-expression, awareness and integrity. Lapis Lazuli is a stone of honesty and will help you be true to yourself.
This Crystal grid has a powerful and strong vibration. It is framed in Grey and is 27x27cm.
The ancient symbol 'Sri Yantra' is one of the earliest symbols of sacred geometry. This makes it very special and significant when we consider the use of crystals on it.
In the Sri Yantra the downwards triangle represents feminine energy and the power of creation whereas the triangles pointing upwards represent masculinity, change, movement and power. It is believed that the Sri Yantra is a strong symbol for the union of the masculine and the feminine divine.
Each part of the Sri Yantra corresponds to one of the chakras, energy centres, in the human body. It is said that the Sri Yantra represents the Universe.
As with all sacred geometry if we place specifically selected crystals on it to form an organised pattern then this will enhance energy flow and in turn increase the vibrations of the crystals and their properties.

I believe in the importance of consistently seeking to learn who we are. As years pass and experiences are experienced, there are parts of us that are revealed to us. We don't always acknowledge them, but they will show up without our approval. - The ugly and the beautiful. Duality. Dark and light. All of it is. When we accept our dual facets and shades in between, we increase awareness. To increase awareness also means to better direct our lives. - Lately I've been inquiring about the study of self and how that would look like. What will I find? What will you find if you studied yourself? Don't you know that you too are a fascinating being? 💕
Women find they can share life together when they stop focusing on “where” they are in their circumstances and seasons and turn to “who” they are in God. We tend to compare the Mary and Martha personalities and forget that God first made them sisters for a reason; to do life together. // ROYALTY *message us if interested in a workshop!
