I made a promise to myself to follow through and start up my production company. It’s so few women who pursue such art....and I’m definitely ☝🏽of them. Since the beginning of my musical journey, all I can remember is watching men create music and I used to think to myself , I can do that too. I’ve learned now to just talk less and do it....Put up or shut up... so I’m just gone shut up now.. lol... #mpclive#mpclife#beats#production#femaleproducer

New blog series Divine Affliction: Perception Through a Feminine Lens!!! Containing a reflexive view behind the music production of EP Divine Affliction and conceptual discussions explaining the background of the project. The EP Divine Affliction is an autobiographical musical expression of when doing what you love is an oxymoron…Scrutinising the quintessential contradiction of the divine feminine in my musical expressions and love of music production, with the afflictions I bear with my gender and identity as a female producer. Music gives you feels. It has such a power over you. It has the power to unite and unify a people or just give solace to somebody who’s struggling. I’m thankful that music has always been a part of my life.

FICG in L.A. presents: Away from Meaning
Director: Olivia Luengas Magaña
Mexico · 2018 · Color · 90´
Between 2010 and 2013 two psychiatric hospitals closed in Mexico, in both, Liliana was admitted because of her borderline personality disorder. When she was 3 years old she suffered a viral encephalitis; 15 years later she discovered that something was not right in her head, she and her family looked for the causes of her emotional instability and her frequent hospitalizations for suicide attempts. Given the threat of a relapse and without the option of internment, she and her parents face a treatment scheme at home. The family questions normality and asks questions; transports us to the inner world of Liliana, where her emotions take shape.

My grandmother was convinced that the only animal that made the same mistake twice is the human being. An essay short film about my very own Internet, a parallel world where memory loss, errors, surveillance and addiction smear everything and everyone.
