Remember these faces! These are some of the skaters from @skatekitchenfilm the debut feature from @crystalmoselle and will have a theatrical release this fall. It’s an amazing film that truly depicts authentic female friendship and has such a wonderfully diverse cast and positive #lgbtq representation. Find this movie when it comes out. They made a stop at @guaposkateboards this afternoon. They’re such an awesome group of talented and humble women. @theskatekitchen #supportindiefilm#femaleempowerment#femalefriendship#femalefilmmakers#femaledirector#womeninfilm#skaters

French comedy #JeuneFemme hits our screens from Friday 22-Sun 24 June. .
31-year-old Paula (rising star Laetitia Dosch) is broke with nothing but her pet cat to her name and no idea what path she should follow in life.
Returning to Paris after a long time away, she intends to stay with photographer and old flame Joachim but finds she is not welcome. She ends up on aimless odyssey, crashing on floors and encountering many different people, all of whom have different views on where Paula is going wrong in her life. This is the debut film by director Léonor Serraille who, working with an almost completely female crew, has created a character study that is both stylish and memorable. .
Well, everyone! It's finally out!

I am so PROUD! When I first got the news, this was during a time I thought my film would never get accepted into any film festival! Not bad for a first film!
Right! Onto the next one! :D
On this father’s day I can’t help but think about the hundreds of little kids kept in #tentcity after being ripped apart from their parents. “Ripped apart” isn’t a tag line, it isn’t marketing, it isn’t an exaggeration. I don’t imagine many parents or kids consented to this. I can’t imagine the trauma I’d still carry had immigration taken me from the arms of my parents having left everything I knew in Venezuela when we came in 1998. I can’t imagine the hatred and resentment this generation of future fucking Americans are going to carry toward the government that treated them like vermin. This shit has happened before... and on Father’s Day I can’t help but think about the heartache those mothers and fathers, and those who are both, feel right now. I can’t and shouldn’t have to.

Watch this little teaser trailer I made for the fundraising campaign me and @carl.bradshaw.334 have just launched to fund our upcoming short film "Sunset" - an emotional and colourful journey through a dying soldier's damaged mind 🎬
@whatifitworksmovie: Why did you decide to work in this industry? I’m not sure that there was ever a conscious choice. I was always a story teller as child. (Then
again, aren’t we all?) I remember I loved observing people and mimicking them. I
would create complex story lines for my dolls and toys and invite my friends to take
on the persona of say sassy Barbie or naive Cabbage Patch. Come to think of it I was probably directing them. Poor kids. I hope they can forgive me now for the
interference. In all seriousness, it probably started as a childhood fantasy of
writing and acting on the stage. It progressed to the school plays. It somehow
morphed into a university degree in performing arts with a focus on writing and film subjects. It carried me on to getting an agent and working in TV and film as an actor.
Meanwhile I did a Masters with a thesis in Film Distribution (you know, the old safe
back-up-plan option). Then on to some screen writing courses. I loved going to the
cinema from a young age and the next natural step was making a short film. Next thing you know you’re fighting like a bat out of hell for eight years to get your first
feature film off the ground and you sometimes wonder, in a haze of exhaustion,
rejection, and just enough exhilaration to keep you going – when did I make the conscious decision that this was a sensible life plan? Ha. . . .
