Ive found my next path. Finally! I feel like I’ve been stuck for ages. But I read the feedback from the manuscript I entered into the New Writers Scheme today after letting it sit unread for 18 days. But you need to do these things when you’re ready. And I’m so glad I finally read it. Overall, the feedback was positive with some very helpful suggestions. Very much with the effort and money, that scheme. Thank you very much! I can’t wait to get started.
This photo is the actual road to Rivenhall Manor, taken when I spent an hour hanging out on the country roadside outside this amazing English estate.
Yellow autumn crocus at the parking lot of the bar in Santa Maria Legarano.
It was a bright, sunny, warm Sunday morning and it is Richard's custom to take the ancient country road leading from Casperia to Santa Maria in Legarano and have a cappucino at the small bar there. I love that old pot-holed country road, particularly in the spring time when we can forage for wild asparagus. Heading back after our coffee the intense bright yellow of these poppies caught my attention. There is something about this vivid bright yellow that makes me feel happy.
I still remember the days when I went to SG ten years ago for the first time. As a crazy poor student that time, I can only afford McD burger for my daily meals or noodle cup from 7/11 for late dinner. Even I carried water bottle all the time, not for environmental-friendly cause but for refilling it with free drinkable tap water. I also had to stay in Johor Bahru-Malaysia to save accommodation fee and crossed the immigration early in the morning and back home late at the night. I studied at Singapore Management University for short time and was dreaming to get my first 1 million dollars in 10 years after that. Now seems that I’m still far from being a millionaire, but I’m always aim higher than my dream.
