Sunday afternoon in the kitchen with one of my favorite summer salad recipes from @seriouseats - farro salad with asparagus, peas, and feta. It may not be the most gorgeous thing to photograph, but it tastes delicious and is a great way to use some of those greens sitting in the fridge. I never had tomatillos growing up in Australia so I had never experienced their unique tangy flavor. Now I love using them in soups, salsas and posole when they’re in season— which is now! It’s been awhile since I’ve had a drink that changes the way I think about cocktails. A cocktail that shows respect for its ingredients and allow each one to shine without competing with the others. Bright, creamy, flavorful, unlike anything I’ve had before. It reminds me why I fell in love with cocktails to begin with

All the carrot colors!!! Well...maybe not all but there’s 5! Purple, coral, yellow, orange, and white. For those of ya asking what dragon carrots are from my very purple-licious dip yesterday, they’re the ones on the far left. Was have been pretty nonexistent the last few weeks but big fun South swell arrived on Fri ~ wooohooo’s!!!
