Today we leave our family adventure for home. If I could warp I would, airports aren’t my friend. My friends are really great, airports not so much.
If I could sum this trip up into one word it would be, complete.
We completed what we set out to do. A little adventure, a lot of close family time, arguing, crying, laughing, intense wonder and joy, time to hear God’s voice and see His creation, and so so so much LOUD! It’s been loud. My family is not quiet. But nor am I.
So what is my takeaway? Take intense time together. Whether it’s making intentional time at home or on a vacation. I say intense because once I remove devices and electronics from our family that’s what it becomes. Intense. Intensely focused on each other, on connection, on learning how to really be together, and all the beauty and ugly that goes along with it.
One thing devices provide, in our home anyway, is quiet. I need quiet. I haven’t had a lot of quiet these past two weeks. I wouldn’t change a thing, but I am certainly looking forward to some Tammy time ♥️

We’ve had some big wind storms this week that have almost blown all these pretty leaves away. 🍂🍁 November is always a strange month for me of feeling sad that fall is almost over but anxious for the holiday season too. Like I want to keep the fall decor out but wondering if I can some how get away with mixing it in with the Christmas stuff...🤔. Anyone else feel this way?!
Love and laughter is the answer to everything! Clients often ask what do I do? If you ever find yourself not knowing what to do...look at your kids, hug them, squeeze them, kiss them, tickle them, play with them ❤️ Just simple interaction can make a huge difference.
If you’re a photographer in Georgetown you know the “turquoise doors”. Usually you have to stand in line for a shot. They’re unique and beautiful, but the east side of the building is so perfect too! #awonderlyphotography
