What did you do today? Anything interesting? #ad [unpaid] We’ve had a crazy busy day. The middle Xenatine celebrated her birthday by having friends over. We painted wands and then went to see Crimes of Grindelwald. I just finished blowing up all the air mattresses for the six girls who are sleeping over...but I don’t think they plan to sleep any time soon. They have had a lot of sugar and are currently running around cursing each other with their wands.
Thank you to @jkscommunications and @griffinstark_author_ for this copy of Immortal Girls! It comes out 1.22.19 and is a superhero origin story. Synopsis in comments.
Thank you to @thenovl and @virgboecker for The Witch Hunter and The King Slayer.

Wow! I can’t believe it’s already December, this year has flown by. Is it just me who feels this way?
I had intended to have a pretty pile of books for my November #wrapup post but the weather did not cooperate.
QOTD: What was your favorite read last month?
I was in a bit of a book slump early in Nov and went on a crazy audiobook binge. I loved rereading REIGN THE EARTH by @acgaughen and I’m ready to take on the next one this month. My two favorite reads this month are EVEN THE DARKEST STARS by @heather_fawcett and ONCE A KING by @erinsummerill. I’ll have full reviews for these soon!
Once a King and the sequel to Even the Darkest Stars both release on Tuesday December 4th. .

Where ever I go to when I die I better be able to still read books and watch TV shows and movies!
Sorry for the crap quality when I got home from Christmas shopping it was later in the day. Adding to the fact it was cloudy and really foggy out I didn't have good lighting 😌

🍂November Wrap Up🍁
Slasher Girls and Monster Boys: 3⭐ I finally finished this book! It was decent lol
Shadow of the Fox: 4.5⭐ It actually did read like an anime 😅 and I'm excited to see what will happen in the second book!
Girls of Paper and Fire: 4⭐ Enjoyed the fem romance and the caste system. I'm extremally curious on why a human has gold eyes, can't wait for the next book! Trigger warning for sexual assault/rape
Kingdom of the Blazing Phoenix: 4.5⭐ I really enjoyed it, only thing I wished was the quest would have been longer maybe even have the journey go into another book
For a Muse of Fire: 3 or 3.5⭐ It was interesting 😅 while it dealt with Asian inspired culture it also mixed in french 😸 I'll definitely read the second book whenever it comes out lol
Empress of all Seasons: 3.5⭐ Really liked it but the ending 😅 its was good but honestly there could have been a second installment and I would have loved it if that was the case
Even the Darkest Stars: 4.5⭐ Really enjoyed this! Thankfully the second book is coming out soon so I'll definitely check it out of my library when I can!
Sadie: 4.5⭐ This was a dark and fast paced read it may be a stand alone but that cliff hanger! I need answers! Trigger warning to pedophilia
The third photo is of my book haul I got at a used book store, the pillow case is what I got today and the galaxy thing under the haul I got today as well, it has a quote from ToG. I also got a Christmas present in but obviously I won't show it cause they will see it 😅
💬 How’d your November reading go? How many books did you finish? Any favorites?
I swear, I was on vacation or sick for roughly half of November, which should mean I was able to find tons of reading time. That… didn’t happen. The month isn’t over yet — I still have a few hours — but so far I’ve finished 13 books. I’m 99% sure I’ll be finishing I Wanna Text You Up tonight, so I added it to the list. Hey, and at least I did better than in October when I only read 10 books. Of course, three of the books I finished were audiobook novellas, but IDGAF. (By the way, if you’re not subscribed to @readmeromance yet, you need to get on that.) It was a solid reading month with some fantastic books and even a couple new-to-me authors.
As far as favorites go, the ratings below tell the full story, but my faves were definitely A Duke by Default, Rising Star, Beautiful, Fireworks and Only You.
Here’s what I finished this month:
A Duke by Default (@alyssacolelit) : ★★★★★
I Bet You (@ilsamaddenmills) : ★★★★
Misadventures with a Professor (@thesierrasimone) : ★★★★
Rising Star (@Susannah_Nix) : ★★★★★
Closer (Alexa Riley) : ★★★
Beautiful (@christinalauren) : ★★★★★
Fireworks (@sarina.bowen) : ★★★★★
Only You (@sweetmarie_83) : ★★★★★
Renaissance Man (@tessabaileyisanauthor) : ★★★★★
Pucked Up (@helenahunting) : ★★★★
Merrily Ever After (@holymolyjennyholi) : ★★★★
Exmas (@winterrenshaw) : ★★★★
Fake Love (@clairecontreras) : ★★★★
I Wanna Text You Up (@teaganhunterwrites) : TBD (I’m finishing it tonight)

📚 November wrap-up 📚
I finished 7 books in November, and I borrowed too many books at the library 😏
In November I read:
Warcross ☆☆☆☆☆ (Undergroundish orphan teen hacks virtual reality game) 📚
The Yellow Book ☆☆☆☆ (Underground lit from over 100 years ago) 📚
The Bear and the Nightingale ☆☆☆☆☆ (Lovely fairytaley story set in old Russia, suggested by @agnesnutter_witch, borrowed from @ilovebookshelves, buddy read with @beaschattaraj 💕) 📚
House of Women ☆☆☆☆ (Graphic novel about women vs men vs men on a random planet) 📚
En moderne familie ☆☆☆☆ (Three adult siblings wonder what really makes a family when they're parents get divorced in their 70s) 📚
The Hate U Give ☆☆☆☆☆ (Starr is a witness of her friend being shot without reason by the police. You just have to read this) 📚
Barnet ☆☆☆ (Ramblings about the author's life until the author's second baby is born) 📚
Challenges end of the month:
Compare your TBR for November to your Wrap Up. How did you do?
The only book I didn't read on my TBR was Near Witch, and I am wanting to get to that one in January now! I did add in two more Kelley Armstrong books (shocker to no one) and I am still in the middle of Slayer and Red Rising. So I didn't technically finish ALL OF THEM, but I am well on my way!
It's good to be flexible with your TBR I feel! I've learned that this year. I am so type A I would plan out all of my books and never read more or less. Now, I plan some and then the others I just mood read!

How is it already the last day of November?! The last few months have absolutely zoomed by. Anyone else feel like that?
I didn’t get many books read in November, but I did have a great month. I published my ninth book, ONLY YOU, got a bit of writing done on my next book, and spent four days out of town with my bestie celebrating my birthday (a few weeks early). December is going to be a busy month and I have several goals I want to achieve before the end of the year, but I’m feeling confident. Bring it on, December!
How many books did you read in November? What was your favourite? My favourite was actually a book I beta read that comes out in February 2019: Maid in England by @brenda.stjohnbrown. 💕 .

How many books did you read this month? Um…let me go consult my Goodreads account…Seven. According to GR I read 7 books this month. I feel like it was more but to be fair, I’m still in the process of reading like 6 some odd books. Next year I need to figure out how to keep myself from reading so many books at once. I get too easily distracted and then it’s all chaos.
While this photo isn’t of my monthly book wrap up, it is a wrap up of a different kind: Today is my last day repping for @flickerwix. I have had such a blast working with all the glitter fiends that make up Katie’s rep team. I’ve tagged all the permanent and 2019 monthly reps (and past reps because they are awesome too!) in this photo so be sure to go check them out! Thank you to Katie and everyone on the amazing rep team!

Can you believe we’ve made it to the end of #theyasisters challenge? 😩 I’m so sad it’s over, but also blown away at your participation and amazing photos! Guys, we had over 4K posts using our tag this month! Whaaat?! You nerds rock!
First, I’d like to announce our fourth and FINAL winner for the giveaway! Congratulations to @bookwormscookie !!! You will receive:
📖 An ARC of @maryweberauthor ‘s #tobesttheboys .
📖 An ARC of @nadinebrandes ‘ #romanov .
📖 And a book of your choice from my #unblemishedtrilogy .
Please PM me with your mailing address and choice of book from my trilogy.
To everyone else, this is a huge THANK YOU from me, Mary, and Nadine! We can’t wait to do another challenge like this one, so stay tuned! You awesome humans are why we love this community so much!
As far as wrap ups go, I only read one book this month. Anyone else do #nanowrimo ? If you did, you might not have had time to read either. BUT the one book I read was totally worth it. This book left me in pieces. Even a week later I am still digesting this story.
It’s not really fair for those who have to wait until May 2019 to read ROMANOV. I promise this story is worth the wait! It’s the perfect blend of fantasy and history. So different from what I expected but perfect at the same time. If you haven’t pre-ordered or added this one to your TBR, you MUST! I’m talking New York Times Bestseller material here.
Did you have a productive reading month? What was your favorite book of November?

Happy FriYAY, book fam! We made it to the weekend! What are your plans? Tomorrow at 1:30pm EST, my girl Lindsey @thepagemistress and I are going live to discuss Bookstagram: the Good, the Bad and the Ugly hahahaha. Sounds like a soap opera. No but in all seriousness, we've been dealing with some unnecessary drama from a certain curly headed misogynist in our community. You better know I'd tag him in this right now because I'm that savage, but he's already blocked me SOOOO 🙃😂😈 Anyway, long story short, Lindsey and I firmly believe that this beautiful community is built on a foundation of encouragement, friendship and fangirling. The best part? That its all free and available at your fingertips whenever you want/need it. No one should been conned into "repping" an account simply to receive information that we're all willing to give. So we'll gladly answer ANY question you have about us, how we built our accounts, what did and didn't work for us, tips for repping companies and rep searches, etc. More importantly, we want you to know that we're here and that we're your friends. Don't ever, ever feel like you can't just DM us and talk to us about whatever the heck you want. Are you planning to join our live tomorrow?
Can't make it to the live? Fear not! The live will be on our story for 24 hours afterward, so regardless you can definitely still be part of the fun.
Keeping it brief on this end today! I spent my month rereading the Harry Potter books! I'm almost to the end of Goblet of Fire! It's make me SO excited for our movie marathon in January!!
QOTD: What questions/topics would you like us to discuss during our live tomorrow?
QOTD 2: What is your favorite Harry Potter book?

Who was the first account you followed on #bookstagram or who is one of your bookstabesties?
Some of the first accounts I followed on bookstagram were @lifeinlit and @beccasbookishlife Their photo challenges were the reason I became a #bookstagrammer and I count myself lucky to be friends with them now. I’ve been lucky enough over the last few years to become friends with so many amazing people. I tagged a few of the accounts that I have been following since the very beginning and who inspired me to share my love of books. Thank you to them and thank you to all of you for talking with me every day. I appreciate you and what you bring to the community and my life. I’m still compiling the list of where you all are from. My DMs are overflowing but I’m making my way through them and can’t wait to share the list with you so maybe you can connect with someone who lives near you. I’ve even found a few people from Maryland, where I live, which has been really fun.
What was your favorite read in November?
Happy Friday! I had quite a few 4⭐️ reads this month and I really enjoyed them all for different reasons so I wouldn’t say I had a clear favorite. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I also read this ARC of Jack Jetstark’s Intergalactic Freakshow which will be released on December 4th. Isn’t the cover gorgeous? It has an interesting plot so I’ll post the synopsis below. For more on my thoughts about this book I’ve posted my full review on the blog.

What’s your favourite read this month?
Hi everyone! How are you doing today?
This has been a pretty good reading month! I’ve read eleven books, which is defiantly an improvement from my three last month. And what’s better, is that I’ve read plenty of great books. Here’s what I’ve read this month:
✨Lord of the Flies by William Golding ✨Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen ✨City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab ✨Ice Like Fire by Sara Raasch ✨Frost Like Night by Sara Raasch ✨The Absolutely True Dairy of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie ✨One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake ✨A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir ✨Wildcard by Marie Lu ✨The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris ✨Pride by Ibi Zoboi .
I finished reading Pride last night and gave it 5/5 ⭐️ It was an amazing and adorable read, very lighthearted and fun. I defiantly recommend it for something quick and that’ll make you happy. I’m now starting A Very Large Expanse of Sea by Tahereh Mafi and I’m already in love 😍 I’m probably going to end up devouring this book this weekend. .
I’m planning to relax tonight and spend tomorrow doing homework and working on school projects. I’m probably going to watch the new Riverdale episode and continue watching Call the Midwife. I’m very much enjoying this new season of CtM and I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen! .

Did you buy more books this month than you read?
I know this haul looks a little maddening, but realize I got rid of more books than I got this month. Obviously I wanted to make room for new books 😂.
I’m also getting ready for my 24 recommendations of 2019! I asked 24 of my book friends to recommend me a book for 2019. This can be any book ever, and I have to read it. Doesn’t mean I have to like it tho 😅. Do you plan to do anything like this?

💬 Did you add any books to your shelves in November?
I added A LOT of books to my shelves and my e-reader in November. So many, in fact, that I kinda lost track. Plus, if I’m being totally honest, I was too lazy to pull figure out which books were new and definitely didn’t feel like pulling them off my shelf. Is it ok to admit that? I’m grateful for all the new books, no matter where they came from, but instead of doing a huge post I’m just going to shoutout one of my most recent additions — @jennifer.l.armentrout’s Moonlight Scandals. I am SO EXCITED to read the third book in JLA’s de Vincent series. I know it doesn’t release until the end of January, but I’m not sure how long I’ll be able to hold off on reading this one.
Even a ghost hunter like Rosie Herpin couldn’t have foreseen the fateful meeting between two mourners that has brought her so intimately close to the notorious and seductive Devlin de Vincent. Everyone in New Orleans knows he’s heir to a dark family curse that both frightens and enthralls. To the locals, Devlin is the devil. To Rosie, he’s a man who’s stoking her wildest fantasies. When a brutal attack on her friend is linked to the de Vincents, he becomes a mystery she may be risking her life to solve.
Devlin knows what he wants from this sexy and adventurous woman. But what does Rosie want from him? It’s a question that becomes more pressing—and more dangerous—when he suspects her of prying into the shadows of his past.
Now, the legends surrounding the de Vincents may not be myths at all. But if she’s to discover the truth, she must follow them straight into the arms of the man she can’t resist—the handsome devil himself.
#allthebooksnov18#totallybookednovember#fearyournovelnovember • November #bookhaul
How many unread books do you own? Many months back I counted, and I had somewhere around 300 unread books which was a stressful thing to realize. And though I have wanted to make that number smaller, I still seem to end up buying more books. I think I’m starting to almost reach 400, which is just horrifying. I have to do an inventory at the end of the year, so I can make a game plan for 2019. Basically, I’m gonna read SO DAMN MUCH in 2019.
#bookreadhappyhour | “I stole your wallet.” November #bookhaul | lol, this is JUST the books I bought at Barnes and Noble on Black Friday. I still have a Book Outlet order of 19 books that should get to me in the next few days. Plus, other random books that I’ve bought but can’t remember. I HAVE A PROBLEM!
