“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
Fear of failing, fear of dying, fear of losing someone, fear of poverty, fear of injury, fear of lost opportunities, fear of the dark, fear of snakes, fear of drowning, fear of violence, fear of accidents, fear of illness, fear of speaking out, fear of being hated, fear of loneliness, fear of God?
Jesus conquers all fears for love casts out fear! There is no greater love than a man lay down his life for another. Jesus laid down His life for all those who believe in him for salvation. May we do the same for our brothers and sisters.

Uma relação com o medo, seus bloqueios e a superação:
1ª tentativa: aumenta a carga - medo - bloqueia
2ª tentativa: mantém a carga - medo - bloqueia
3ª tentativa: reduz a carga - reduz o medo
4ª tentativa: aumenta a carga de novo - medo - bloqueia
5ª tentativa: mantém a carga - medo - ainda bloqueado!
6ª tentativa: mantém a carga - vai com tudo mesmo com medo - a barra sobe!!!
I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again: Patience is 🔑 .
Sometimes I question everything in life. Why am I not seeing the results I want? Why aren’t things going according to plan? Why? Why? Why? .
Recently, I almost accepted a job I did not want. My plan wasn’t working out, I couldn’t find what I wanted when I wanted. So I panicked. Instead of trusting the process and allowing situations to come to fruition. I wanted to force my expected results on my timeframe. .
However, every now and then you’ll be reminded to be patient. Sometimes things don’t work out the way you WANT so they can work out the way they were SUPPOSED to happen. .
Today was my first day at a new job which was beyond incredible. It was thrilling to be surrounded with such passionate and happy people, doing what I love to do. I don’t know what the future holds, but I am so glad some things didn’t work out the way I wanted them to. .
Also, after my first day, I went and killed my workout! The best thing about this program is it’s so flexible and fits right into my schedule! AND, I’m seeing arm definition for the first time in my life 💪🏽

Let's talk about fear... You don't have to agree with the following facts but nonetheless they are true.
Everyone gets afraid. Everyone experiences fear. Fearless is an interesting concept but the brain tells us that everyone experiences fear. Whether we experience fear isn't in question, the question is, what is our response to fear? What do we do when we feel the sensations that we call fear?
hot flushes or chills
shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
a choking sensation
rapid heartbeat (tachycardia)
pain or tightness in the chest
a sensation of butterflies in the stomach
headaches and dizziness
numbness or pins and needles
a need to go to the toilet
ringing in your ears
confusion or disorientation
It is essential to recognize that fear is healthy, a natural part of the human design. In many cases it is fear that prevents us from taking risks that would harm ourselves or others. Some fears are Illusions and others we learn from traumatic experiences, or what we were taught to be afraid of.
Back to our response to fear... How do you respond to fear?
How many times have you allowed fear to stop you? How many times has fear caused you to quit, run or be unwilling to risk?
What type of relationship would you like with fear? If none is the answer...go back to the beginning, we all experience fear. What will your relationship with fear be? How will you cultivate it?
Can you live, thrive and be successful through your fears? Let me change that. Will you?
@rafamolina_ifa
Today was day one of the free counseling through hubby’s work. The lady taking my case was calm and open and had good questions and insight. I really connected with her. It also helped that she is an artist and had two beautiful pieces on display in her office. So we talked about painting before sitting down. Painting is something I’d like to get back into doing. Specifically I’d like to try painting with a palette knife.
Some notes she jotted down are shown here. This is me folks. Guilt and fear are the leading causes of my anxiety. I cried but not as much as I though I would. Maybe that’s because I’ve already done a lot of crying. Going forward I am to write in my journal after each time I have anxiety or a panic attack. I need to write down the words or images that enter my head without shaming myself. And why I feel that way. The more I see it and think about the WHY’s the more I will hopefully be able to avoid these thoughts.
Do you have a way of calming yourself when having anxiety or a panic attack? Me, I bring my knitting everywhere so I can focus on the yarn instead of the thing causing my anxiety or fear.
