Before keto I used to eat Indian food nearly every weekend with my boyfriend at our favorite Indian restaurant.. we were literally addicted.. All the rice and garlic naan!!
Being able to eat Indian keto style has been one of the main reasons I've been able to stick to this way of eating! You really can make almost anything keto friendly!

Not to mention it’s delicious. 😋 (1/2 cup heavy cream, 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 2 tbsp. butter, 2 squares of 100% dark chocolate, plus I added a tbsp of MCT oil for a little extra fat!) KETO ALCOHOL GUIDE
You have probably wondered to yourself, can I drink and stay in ketosis?
The answer is absolutely!
If your trying to stay in ketosis it is important that you keep your carbohydrate intake AT OR BELOW 5% of your total calories.
So as long as you are fitting in your alcoholic beverages within those parameters you are all set!

Falamos bastante que, na dieta cetogênica, entramos num estado metabólico de cetose quando o nosso corpo passa a utilizar a gordura e os corpos cetônicos como fonte de energia, certo? Ok, mas e como sabemos que estamos em cetose?
Existem 3 tipos de corpos cetônicos: - acetoacetato (AcAc)
- beta-hidroxibutirato (BHB)
- acetona (que é um subproduto do acetoacetato)
Cada um deles serve a uma função específica e são testados de forma diferente (urina, sangue e respiração, respectivamente).
A forma mais acessível e menos invasiva é o teste de urina. Uma fita com uma substância reagente altera a cor quando há corpos cetônicos (acetoacetato) presente. Esse método é um ótimo indicativo, no início dessa transição metabólica, para sinalizar que há corpos cetônicos sendo produzidos.
Um detalhe muito importante que muitas pessoas ficam preocupadas é o "quão roxa" a fita vai ficar: não quer dizer que quanto "mais roxa", "mais em cetose" você está!
Na verdade, as fitas vão indicar se você está expelindo acetoacetato (um tipo de corpos cetônicos, e isso é sinal de que eles estão sendo produzidos em uma taxa mais alta do que quando em uma dieta convencional, o que é o objetivo) ou não, e não quer dizer que quanto mais você expelir, melhor é! Deu para entender?
Então não deixe de tomar água para ver se escurece a fita, certo? Isso só vai te deixar desidratado! :) .

Keto has changed soooo many things for me in such a short time.
I was too the point where I felt like I was emotionally and physically drained all the time. I didn’t realize how much a terrible diet could effect me.
I’ve always struggled with my weight but it got to a point where I felt like I had no control anymore. It was terrible.
I was depressed, dealing with severe anxiety. I developed social anxiety and I just didn’t want to do or go anywhere. As a mom with 2 kids I felt like I was failing them. I hated that I didn’t have the energy to play with them and that I just constantly felt tired. I want my kids to see me happy and alive!
I only started keto about 6 weeks ago but I feel completely changed. I no longer feel down and depressed, I have stopped taking my anxiety medication, all of my anxiety is literally gone. I have tons of energy. I feel amazing! I have so much more confidence. And I feel with me being happier my kids are definitely happier too. I want to set a good example for them with food and being healthy so that hopefully they won’t have the issues and struggles I’ve had since I was young.
I know it’s only been 6 weeks and I still have a lot to lose but keto has changed me, changed my life.
Day 18 Carnivore cut, I’m still in KETOosis as I aim for 70% daily intake of fat exclusively from meat, most of my meat is from beef particularly fatty cuts, occasionally salmon and of course bacon 🥓 No I’m not worried about gluconeogenesis at all I run on fat! Breaking today’s fast with ribeye & a 73/27 burger with some Swiss cheese!
