‘Happy Monday! I hope you’re all enjoying yourselves and staying strong even on the bad pain days. With just one week to go until Christmas, I want to wish you all a lovely week and remember to enjoy this time but don’t push yourselves too hard ... 😌🎄
🎄🍷🎄She was working out and eating right but couldn’t seem to get anywhere. She was also battling #fatigue and #anxiety AND a host of other issues.
Can you relate? Many of us have felt like we are trying to live a healthy lifestyle but still struggle. 😕 Here is Stacie’s story 💕👇🏼 “Two and a half years ago, I was struggling. I was struggling with horrible sad, anxious feelings, tummy troubles, chronic #exhaustion (2 hour daily naps y’all!) sugar #cravings , horrible #allergies , poor #sleep , #moodiness , #irritability , and the list goes on.
When I made the decision to try these supplements, all that changed! 💕 While I am so happy I now understand how #GutHealth is tied to SO many things inside our bodies, I sure wish one of my doctors had explained this to me years ago. It would have saved me years of hurt, years of feeling unworthy, years of feeling like my body was betraying me and all the exercise and healthy eating I was doing made NO difference in how I felt.
These supplements have been such a blessing to our family and to me especially... I’m so thankful I did my research about gut health and how it plays a role in our bodies or I may never have given these products a chance. Do your research about GUT HEALTH y’all... you will quickly see why getting your gut healthy will change everything!!! There is not a day that goes by that I’m not thankful God placed these products in my lap.”❄️⛄️❄️☀️ #HealthStartsToday#SelfCare#LivingwithAnxiety
I just came across an incredible analogy so I had to share it.
Imagine a football field. A football field, without the end zone, is a little more than an acre in size. Well, the surface area of all our red blood cells would cover almost an acre, so just about the size of a football field. We have an acre of surface area inside of our bodies. WOW!
Now, imagine taking a penny and placing it in the corner of the football field. That penny represents all of the copper that we need in our bodies. Another WOW!
That pennies worth of copper (approx. 90mg) is all that is needed to regulate the thousands, and thousands of milligrams of iron that we have in our bodies. Over 70% of the iron in our bodies is complexed inside of hemoglobin which is what makes up our red blood cells. Did you know that 84% of all the cells in our bodies are red blood cells? Mind blowing!!! Copper is what allows the cells of the body to create energy and to clear exhaust. The body doesn't work without that pennies worth of copper.

Remember to relax (a glass of wine never hurts either)! Rest is a super important part of fitness. If you don’t rest your muscles, they won’t have time to rebuild. It’s important no matter what, but ESPECIALLY important if you’re trying to build muscle mass. Over exercising can also cause fatigue, a weakened immune system, and dehydration, and soft tissue injuries (muscle pulls/tears/sprains and ligament and tendon injuries). Make sure you take time to stretch and to let your muscles recover. #restday#rest#muscles#injury#fatigue#tendon#ligament#relax#rebuild#pulls#strains#tears#stretch#overexercising#debydration

🤷♀️🙈 Yes please!!
Between migraines & feeling like my body is trying to go against me again, I've been feeling quite ill over the last week. I was up in Dublin for the week but spent a good bit of it dealing with an awful migraine & all of it's lovely side effects. Once I got over that (sort of any way) my joints started playing up, awful cramps & really painful when walking. I just blamed the weather as it's been strom after strom here recently but now I'm seeing more little spots appear on my arms & legs so I'm hoping it's not going to end up as a full on flare 🙈 I'm not ready to deal with all of what that intales just yet.
In saying that, the bad patches on my legs, have had some skin come through & clear up a bit of the Psoriasis in places. With that I'm pleased as it also shows me that using the coconut oil has been helping 🤞.
So from tomorrow on I'm going to up my use of it & also use it on my arms to try calm them down again as this is the 2nd time these little spots have showed up lately.
Also, I think it's crazy that it's Christmas Eve this time next week!!! 🙈
Be kind to yourself 💖

So I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who follows @theendokiwi and supports my journey with Endo.
Also a warm welcome to my new followers, I see you 🥰💕
I thought I would write a little bit about myself for those who have joined my journey as well as shared their own.
My name is Elle, I’m 23 and have a 2yo son named Lucas, I’m a stay at home Mumma and love my life despite living it in pain.
My partner Trent (and Lucas’s Dad) owns and operates his own Earthmoving Business and we also share our home with 3 fur babies.
My #endometriosis Journey began the day my first period started at age 14, of course wasn’t diagnosed till the age of 19 with my first surgery to remove a cyst the size of an orange, then to also find I was riddled with stage 3 Endometriosis at the time.
Three months later I’m in for my second op with a specialised Endo surgeon, he then removed my right Fallopian tube and reattached my ovary to the wall of my uterus.
I was also diagnosed with stage 4 Endometriosis that day, which means it’s starting to grow on other organs, not just in your uterus and on your ovaries. Eg the bladder, bowels and appendix.
6 months later after the second op I had an ultra sound to see how my ovary was going, only to find out the Endo was already growing back where it had been cut out already.
So then I had my third surgery booked in to then find out I was pregnant! Something that was and is still a complete miracle as I was told my fertility had dropped 40-50% along with having PCOS
Oh yes the pain certainly did go for 10 months but was replaced with the worst morning sickness.
If anyone tells you pregnancy CURES Endo, they’re lying and full of shit just saying. 🤔
4 weeks after wee Lucas was born my symptoms and pain returns and now I’m back on the waiting list for my third surgery while living everyday in complete agony 😒
The holidays can be an incredibly stressful time for all of us. Parties, food choices that are our of our norm, financial stresses, and more. If you were already pretty depleted before the holiday season started you may noticed that you're starting to drag. ⠀
If that drag continues even after the holiday season (or if you were experiencing it before!) you may be entering stage 2 hpa axis dysfunction or what I like to call “the answer is not more coffee” stage. Your brain has caught on to the fact that you’re not running from a predator—this is a daily norm and life outside of your skull is a dim and dark place, and we need to cut back and conserve resources.⠀
So, your brain is decreasing your production of key hormones such as TSH (which ultimately creates T3, your active thyroid hormone); shuts down ovulation, which is the stimulus to make progesterone (leaving you with PMS and period irregularities); and decreased production of testosterone and growth hormone, which are key in boosting metabolism, increasing focus and memory, and helping you put on muscle mass. It can also disrupt your blood sugar control, leaving you craving foods that are probably not nutrient dense.⠀
Listen to you body - is it giving you signs that you need to slow down, rejuvenate and rebalance? Those signs may not be just exhaustion but manifest as other symptoms too. If you don't listen and just push through, chances are you'll get to a point where slowing down is not longer a personal choice, but a physiological one. ⠀
I wrote all about the stages of HPA Axis Dysfunction (AKA adrenal fatigue) in a semi-recent blog post that details what each stage may feel like (& what to do about it!) Check it out to learn more!⠀

Taking some time for yourself will improve the quality of your life🙌
Often, we become so engrossed in our day-to-day activities, we simply end up gathering more and more information, and don't take time out to think and reflect. This can make us feel frustrated and tired..
A few quiet moments everyday are a good source of creativity and inner peace. Silence heals and rejuvenates and gives you depth and stability. Take some time during the day, sit for a few minutes; get into the cave of your heart and mind, eyes closed, and keep the world away.
Taking some time for yourself will improve the quality of your life and help you face new challenges.
