Don't be so harsh on yourself
Regalate un poco de aire fresco, entrena para destruir el patriarcado 💪
Man. Today was beast mode. I did a full body 1 hour work out (see pic 2 + 10 min cardio jogging). Afterwards i caught this in the mirror. What could those be?? Could.. could those be muscles???? Maybe. I havent taken measurements in a while.. but i think there are mucles hiding in there somewhere.
I'm leveling up my #fatfitness game to take 7 dance classes a week 🙆♀️
1) This has NOTHING to do with losing weight or succumbing to toxic ☢diet culture☢. I could care less about a number on a scale or society standards. And I 💜every🧡 single💛thick💕 curve 💚on💙 my ❤super 🖤thick 💜body💖.
2) As I'm nearing a birthday(WOOT WOOT!), it has EVERYTHING to do with wanting to sustain my awe-inspiring 'super-human-esque' energy so that I can RELEASE a bajillion endorphins out into the world making it a better place🌍💜
3) I want to push & train myself harder as a dancer 💃🕺As evolving humans, it's always good to continue to push ourselves within our passions to promote positive change.
Hotel buffet breakfast this morning. Oh the looks I always get (I am not overweight so this must be confusing for ’civilians’ 😂) I ended up skipping the sausage, see previous post on fat amounts in relation to protein. The butter needs to be double the amount on the pic for it to start resembling 80 E% (in case you eat the sausage, that is..) Without the sausage, the macropercentages are 1C/ 17P/ 82F is my guess (I didn’t bring a scale :-)) #macros#fatfitness#keto#health
Sweaty me and swipe for the bands I brought with me
I'm at a game development convention in London but I didn't want to miss an exercise day. This morning I walked to the train station, and later when I got to the hotel I did some exercise band stuff. I used the heavy band for crab walk (x10 each side, 20x in total), 10x squats and 10x bridges. Then I did some arm exercises I don't know the name of 😂 then 10x crunch holding my luggage bag up, 10x reverse crunch and 20 seconds planks. All 3 sets. Then I used my massage ball on glutes and calves, then runners stretches.
You know you are really committed to something when you get to your hotel after a few drinks and still do your exercises! I just want to run so bad I won't drop the ball .
Edit: Google fit is not very accurate. I actually walked 2.4km rather than 2km. Not a huge difference, but still!

I have fought physically and spiritually to be where I am today. I didn't think I could take the pain, but God saw me through. He refreshed me and gave me joy. 2 ER visits, surgery, 2 additional doctor appointments and recovery had left me feeling defeated. Even after an amazing week of God ministering to my soul, I was in tears. My body had betrayed me. The number on the scale laughed at my efforts. Then I was reminded how far I've come and where I'm headed. It's okay to show the ugly. You can look at all my scars and all my pain if that's what picks you up! My past has taught me the importance of being vulnerable and open. This is just me, the only story I know how to tell. I'm still learning and I'm still going forward. It's just not always pretty.
Tried to make a video but you can only see my butt 😅 anyway, first time I did a jackknife 6 months ago I could barely do 3 of them before falling off the ball. It wasn't part of my program for a while, but now it is back in since 2 weeks ago. I'm doing 9 of them at the moment and feeling really happy to notice my improvement!
I promise I'll make a decent video of it another time haha
Today I did some walking uphill on the treadmill cause I wanted to. I don't know if it was a good idea cause I felt my shins hurt a little. It is a bit frustrating to be dealing with this again, but that's life. I've been stretching my calves twice a day, and foam rolling or using the massage ball too, full body. Everyday I go to the gym and also every day off. Before exercising I do active stretches, after I do static ones. Days off I do static stretches, sometimes twice a day. I am now a super bendy human and I don't even need plates under my heels to squat anymore 😁 but the shin...the shin is still unhappy. I will crack this puzzle at some point. I will even become a runner at some point. I will never rest until I do! (I won't rest after either though cause I'll be running)
