A lot of our followers ask us how a partial knee replacement is done so here's how it works! The goal of a Uni Knee surgery is to create an artificial joint, just as in a total knee replacement. The difference is that the Uni Knee procedure only addresses the area where disease has been found. Patients receive regional anesthesia, which numbs the lower portion of the body, and IV sedation to remain comfortable. Most patients are walking pain free 30-45 minutes after surgery. The surgeon will first make an incision at the front of the knee. The damaged cartilage in the affected area is removed and a resurfacing component is attached to the femur and to the tibia. Knee ligaments and unaffected cartilage are left undisturbed. Learn more about our treatment by calling 805-669-9471 today!

123. #3 here is also know as my “crackerjack”. Name seems fitting as her momma is Blackjack. 😁 .
Sipping on our first cup of coffee earlier this morning @Ryan m0327 noticed she had a bad leg. 😭 The to do list grew long as we only had a couple of hours before our 10am soccer game... .
She’s currently pregnant & has a nursing calf on her side, so no time to waste! Luckily we got them separated BEFORE soccer 🙌🏽 and were not late!!! 👏🏻👏🏻 .
🤞🏼 and a whole lot of 🙏🏽 that she’ll heal up after being pinned for a few days. (We move them into a small pen or field so they can’t use the injured leg as much). .
