Remember, Intermittent Fasting is all about eating in a restricted time window to make it as easy and comfortable for you as possible to respect your daily calorie intake for fat loss.⠀

The lower your calories, the longer your fast might be and the less meals you might have for you to achieve this purpose.⠀

If you're a 120 lbs (55 kg) female dieting for fat loss and you need to eat 1200 kcal per day, then fasting as long as possible (18 hours) and eating two satisfying meals may work best for you. If you're a 240 lbs (110 kg) male and you burn fat on 2400 kcal, then you may only fast 14 hours and eat up to 4 meals in your 10-hour eating window.⠀

Important note: there is no rule. It's all about maximizing your satiety throughout the day depending on your calorie budget.⠀

Most people will lose fat on 1500-2000 kcal a day, which is why I find that the sweet spot for IF is a 16-hour fast combined with 3 meals a day.⠀

It's been a hot minute. I've basically been on vacation all summer. I'm up a few pounds... But when I put things in perspective, that's really not too bad. I haven't been tracking. But I've definitely tried to balance. Now that I'm back home I'm having a hard time breaking out of vacation mode. I've had more dessert than I should've had.
