Thank you again to those who came down on Saturday making it another SOLD OUT market day phew! No rest for the wicked at Miriam’s lil Farm. Our resident husband farmer is turning the earth for our baby eggplants and tomatos! 🍅🍆👨🏻🌾👩🏾🌾
Here at @humblebeeaus we enjoy planting and growing various types of beautiful roses and flowers.. We believe they are a good source of nectar 🐝

💐 Who loves brightening up their home with a bunch of flowers? 🙋♀️ But so often they come unnecessarily wrapped in plastic. Even at the farmers’ market, where I started to go to get flowers when I was conscious of the amount of packaging involved, they still wrapped them up in paper (obviously this is way better than in plastic 👍), so this weekend I got in early 😉 Just as the florist was reaching for the paper to wrap the flowers, I simply told him I would take them as they are 🌷
One very easy step to reduce your waste! And without losing those lovely flowers brightening up your home 🌹
What items do you ask for without any packing? 👇
Meet us at BiOFAC India , Farmers Market section at Pragati Maidan , New Delhi starting from 25th-27th October 2018
This is the First time Organic Farmers are participating in Biofac India which has been predominantly a B2B marketplace.
Now individual farmers can reach out to the consumers directly and network with peers too. Thank you #OFAI for making this happen

Hope you've all had a lovely long weekend! We had a busy day today - building a bridge, erecting the second nursery (just one more to go!) and pricking out a few hundred tomatoes... So thankful for the stunning weather and the company of friends and family ❤️
Why do I love to #supportlocalfarmers in my area? Well for 1... I like to make connections & friendships with the farmers that feed my belly. I like to see what I’m putting in mine and my families mouth. It’s almost like it feels safer when your able to pick it, see it and ask questions from people 👨🌾 who are willing to share their knowledge & appreciate your business. Plus, food that is local tastes better. Fruits & Veggies are picked at their prime time, meat are naturally & sustainability raised (if you know what to look for & have trustworthy farmer). Secondly, local food doesn’t have to travel as far from the field to your plate. The shorter the distance between the farm and your table, the more nutrients the food will hold. Food that is imported from other countries are still okay to eat obviously.. just know... that it is older and has traveled on trucks, planes, trains etc to get here and was probably picked early & then sat in warehouses and ship containers before it gets to the grocery store & then sits even longer in the stores before you buy and cook it. So supporting as much local as possible just seems to be the best idea for my overall health. I encourage you to get out there and build relationships with #farmers in your local area or hit up the #farmersmarket to get some local Veggies, breads, fruits & yummy treats! If you are in the #gta , #yorkregion , #barrie , #simcoe areas & would like to know which farms I recommend & personally sourced out shoot me a DM I would love to connect you to a great farmer in these areas. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #healthyfood#foodie#guthealth#localfood#myjourney#wellness#farmfresh#farmersfeedcities#onfarmphoto#pumpkinseason#supportlocal#farmers#eatlocal#thewayitshouldbe#healthymom#leakygut#healthychoices#paleo#primal#investinyourhealth#nutrition#grassfed#wellnessblogger#youarewhatyoueat
To celebrate the warmer months returning I’ve decided to bring back Eats by Daisy 🎉🙌🏻 Miss me? To celebrate, here’s a quick snap of my scrummy salmon bagel from the Matakana Markets this weekend👌🏻🐟🍋 #eatsbydaisy
I LOVE going to farmers markets. I love supporting local business’, the food and most of all the energy. I enjoy the laziness of strolling from booth to booth talking to fellow small business owners. They have put their heart and soul into making a product they believe in and then spend their days preparing and selling it. It is not easy work and it is worth every moment. @parkerfarmersmarket @taspens
