Went to the farmers market today.
We drove into Bellingham to go to the farmers market. It was filled with allot of delicious looking stuff. I got a pretzel and chocolatini right off the bat. It was very delicious.
The vegetables were huge, I wish I could have bought some and taken it home with me, but I won't be able to bring it over the boarder.
Then we went to the mall, and I bought a few items for the house and used up the last of my money. It was a bit sad, because I saw some other items I wanted. But I can live without them. I'll just wait till I get back to Canada now to buy things.
We ended with a fire and made some smores. *****
It’s blackberry season!!! Back in the day we’d always see those ads in @motherearthnewsmag for thornless blackberries. In 2012 we bought a bunch of plants back and after years of not quite having enough energy to deal with them properly, things have come together and they’re bearing. I’m heading down to market for the second shift, going to check the bushes again now, what I harvest will be down there around 1.

White Half-Runner. Heirloom Greasy Beans. We have a strong green bean culture in Kentucky. In addition to many of the newer “stringless” varieties like jade beans, people have strong opinions about which cultivar and which cooking method reigns supreme. #FMCGuestIG#LexingtonFarmMkt#beans#kentucky#appalachianfood#farmersmarket#lexfarmmkt [Josh, Brittany, and Jillian on behalf of @lexfarmmkt ]
