Today’s featured beer is a lovely one from out West! It’s Stiff Peaks Double Milkshake IPA With Field Berries from @twinsailsbeer. Sporting a nice 8.3% ABV, this beer pours a purple/red with a head that dissipates quickly after the pour. On the nose, heavy aromas of strawberry and raspberry. The first sip starts off with a touch of smooth, creamy blueberries and transitions into strawberry, raspberry and blackberries. The finish is slightly tart and a little boozy. However, still full of fieldberry flavour. This was my first Milkshake DIPA and I was not disappointed! Big thanks to @craftbeertoronto for saving this beer he got from a trade with @namclean !🔥🍻🔌
ENG🇬🇧 You only listen to Fruit Wind passion fruit wild ale ba from @gusi_beer, it is enlisted by mix of lactobacilli, primary fermentation by the Belgian yeast with lactose additive, and then excerpts are 11 months old in barrels from under the Spanish red wine with passion fruit and wild yeast! Brain laceration! Aroma passion fruit and wild rains in rebag with Win's shades beats at once. In general Double impression. At first has not gone in general. Some jam which has begun to ferment with brazhny taste. In process of heating and accustoming of steel passion fruit and barrel is distinctly shown. The taste became more expressed and finished, and body more rounded. I will not tell what was pleasant to me, but very much, very interestingly and there is a wish still. I do not recommend to drink cold. It is worth trying unambiguously. The experiment is unambiguously abrupt.
Density is 14,7%
Today’s featured beer is thanks to a trade I made with @softhazyboy!This is “Like Clockwork” DIPA from @foambrewers. Sporting an 8.2% ABV, this beer pours a bright orange with a foamy head that dissipates quickly after the pour. On the nose, aromas of peach and melon. The first sip consists of grapefruit, peach, cantaloupe and pineapple along with a slight tartness. The finish is dry with some bitter notes of pine resin. The mouthfeel here is light, airy and smooth. A great DIPA and another huge thanks to @softhazyboy 🔥🍻
There are some breweries that, when you see them on tap, you just have to have. @jesterkingbrewery is definitely one of those. How very convenient for me there was just such a beer on tap at @bitterphew for their American Farmhouse & Sours Sydney Beer Week event!👌
This one is Commercial Suicide, an Oaked Farmhouse English Mild Ale. This is a very quaffable drop, with clear oak notes, nice malts and a dry finish. 🍻
Yes, another Bock beer!
Einbecker Ur Bock Hell
👀 Golden colour, crystalline. White, mousse-like foam, not very persistent.
👃Classic bouquet: bread crust, hay, a soft touch of honey and flowers; as it warms up increasingly hints of acacia honey and grass.
👅 Mainly malty, delicate and herbal bitterness. Firm body. Grain, bread crust, medium dry finish, malty back aroma.
As a university student, sometimes the most efficient way to party is to roll up with copious amounts of Barleywine. @innocentebrew did a wonderful job here with “Never Again” creating a barleywine with a stylistically mild 9.1% ABV, making it a lovely drink for social gatherings. A little more mellow than some heavier barleywines but full of flavour regardless (full review to come 🍻). To top it off, at only $2.50 a tall can, this is easily the most economically friendly way to crush barleywine 🔥🍻 A giant shoutout here to @quinndougan for hauling back all of these tasty treats for the lads 🍻
Today’s featured beer comes from @trilliumbrewing’s Small Bird Series. It’s “Little Rooster” American Pale Ale. Sporting a 5.8% ABV, this beer pours a rich, hazy orange with a head that lingers a little after the pour. On the nose, fresh citrus and some earthy aromas. The first taste consists of orange, peach and grapefruit along with a little pine resin. The finish is semi dry and very refreshing. This was a lovely beach beer 🔥🍻
Today’s featured beer is Summer Street DDH IPA from @trilliumbrewing. Coming in at a 7.2% ABV, this IPA pours a hazy, bright orange with a head that lingers after the pour. On the nose, dank aromas with citrus zest and melon. The first sip has some dankness with notes of grapefruit, tangerine, peach and pineapple. The finish holds the sweet citrus well along with a slight booziness and dry bitterness. Lovely Punch with this DDH IPA🤛🏻 🍻🔥
