Have you been to the new Tillamook Creamery? .
It’s been years since we had been down to visit this creamery and when we heard it had a makeover we decided to take the 1 hr trek down from @ashorehotel to Tillamook. Our morning started off foggy and chilly so it was the perfect time for a scenic drive but half way down the sun came out so we made a couple stops to check out the nearby beaches along the coast. When we finally arrived at the creamery it was busier than we expected ( the grand opening was this past June). All to say, we did a quick self tour, grabbed a snack and headed right back out to enjoy the sun. We hope to have a better experience once the crowds begin to die down, which only means another trip down to Oregon in the future. 😊 Over all, the new creamery is beautiful and family friendly with fun hands on learning for the kids. It would be a great pit stop along the coast for a meal and to check out all things Tillamook but I would plan ahead to see how busy it is before heading over.
Did you know that it’s a farmer -owned co-op consisting of about 100 farmer families. And most of these families have been farming for multiple generations- definitely a family business! .

Our memories of Grand Cayman Island look like this 💙💦☀️The whitest sand and clearest water we’ve ever seen!! 😎 Would love to go back with our boys one day 🙌 Have you been to Grand Cayman Island or the Carribean? #takemeback 📷: @adp_fila
I believe one of the best educations you can give your children is experiences. It’s one thing to read about a country or a culture in a school book and another to actually experience it. If you have the chance to travel, it’s truly a wonderful way to educate your family and yourself.
Hey family and friends, just wanted to throw this invite out 13 months in advance! We are planning on going to New York for THANKSGIVING 2019 Break (God willing of course). My hubby's birthday falls on Thanksgiving day next year and what better way to celebrate than at the Macy's parade (with 3.5 million others)... China Grayce has never been to NYC and is overjoyed at the thought of venturing around the concrete jungle with us.
If you are in the area, want to plan on seeing us there, or already have plans of being in NYC that week--hit me up and let's make this happen!

🗺What an experience this has been and is. Its definitely a big learning experience and now I understand why people start big in RV world and then downsize alot to a smaller rig. Especially after our hellacious drive through the remote mountians of PA yesterday!😱

People are always asking us why we take our TWO toddlers on vacation with us so often. We have put together our answers and will be sharing our ideas with you over the next couple of weeks.
The first is Rowen and Raven are ONLY LITTLE ONCE! We want them to have a childhood full of memories of exploring the world. These family memories are priceless. Traveling with toddlers can be stressful but for the most part it is a lot of fun! We will always remember Raven trekking half way up the Duomo in Florence, their fascination for city lights in NYC and the first time they played on the ocean beach in Oregon. The list goes on and on.
The time spent on vacation is also different than your time at home. There are less responsibilities and distractions and more time for fun. You can use this time to enjoy being with your kids.
Well there you have it - reason #1 . If we haven’t convinced you, stay tuned for our other ideas and reasons!
Batman meets (insert Character here) 😂 anyone know? Each Saturday night in October, #legolandcalifornia has its #brickortreat nights! We headed there right after we landed. Our little one had a great time and we enjoyed it as well! My husband keeps telling me this is my birthday trip, yet we have all the activities planned for my son 😂 #momlife#sandiego#sandiegotourism
And just like that we are back to getting into our everyday routines. I feel our kids thrive on them! Although they’re having one last day off of school to combat any jet lag that might be hanging around, they have been asked to follow their morning routine as if they were going to school so it’s not as hard tomorrow when we actually need to get out the door on time. It’s kind of sweet to hear them down the hall chatting about what’s next on their list & actually following through without them getting sidetracked playing a game or whatever else they get up to. Let’s hope this last all through this final Term of school. What are some tips that help you & your kids get back into the daily grind after a long vacation?
