When I was a young girl, you couldn’t pay me to wear anything PINK. Pink was a girl color and I was a tough tomboy who didn’t want anyone to think I was weak or less than a boy.
Cut to now, I celebrate 🎉 the color pink so hard, it’s the color of my hair.
Now, Pink is feminine but feminine = STRENGTH, and TENDERNESS, and BRAVERY, WISDOM, POWER ⚡️, INGENUITY, GRACE, VULNERABILITY, and everything under the sun that all the amazing women of this 🌎 embody. If anyone tells you being in touch with your emotions makes you weak, they are probably working day and night, exhausting themselves, trying to shove theirs down. We’re humans, not robots!
As a woman, I brought LIFE into this world 🤰 (with the scars to prove it). I have been a single mom, a stay at home mom, and working+stay at home mom plus a million other hats.
What I’m trying to say is, don’t buy into the negative perceptions about yourself that say you’re weak, or less than ANYONE. Be MINDFUL of how you talk to yourself. Is your inner dialogue kind? Do things that make you walk this world with CONFIDENCE and an infectious GLOW ✨ (like pink hair 😉) Spend time in nature 🌳. Travel to new places and shake thing up ✈️! Stop giving your power away to other people and own your life.
What do YOU want? What makes your soul SING 🎶 ? Do that. Everyday. It doesn’t have to big huge. Sometimes the little things in life give us the most. ❤️every square inch of yourself and honor the skin you’re in with DAILY self care. 🧘♀️
Not sure how to get started? Check out the link in my bio. 🦋
If you’re a teen mom looking for guidance, send me a DM. I work with teen moms for FREE. I was one, and I know how much I could have used my current experience and knowledge at 19.
TAG a mom who could use some self care in her life an remind her of how amazing she is! •
Has a landscape ever shocked you with its beauty in a way that you couldn't have expected? .
🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 I knew that Kata Tjuta and Uluru were oing to be breathtaking but nothing like this. We had always heard about the harsh Aussie Outback and the desert of red sands. A place void of everything except life which has evolved to live in the most extreme environments. .
But this is not what we found... Rather we were confronted by a world of the most intense colour contrasts I have ever seen in the natural world. .
Blood red rocks rise to split a ground of sunburnt orange soil as they reach for an ocean blue sky. All the while yellow grass floods the ground and emerald green trees seek to overwhelm every inch of viable shade. Successfully escaping the sun just long enough each day to survive in this blistering yet wildly peaceful place. .
We have been lucky enough to experience some unimaginably beautiful worlds in our travels. And this place is so special in a way that I haven’t found replicated anywhere else.🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 .

There is only one city in the world...❤️ New York ist einfach mit nichts zu vergleichen.
We just left London for a couple of days to visit friends in Scotland. London is a beautiful city and I’m looking forward to sneaking in a little bit more time on our way home to Canada.
The Underground is one of the things that I’ll miss the most.
Sometimes I feel like there are dreams that we have in our lives, we work so hard for them and then they end up feeling so different by the end than what we thought that when we “arrive” we don’t even realize our dreams are coming true right in front of us. Life seems to be all about the next thing, or the next destination… when I graduate then I’ll be in the clear, when I get that job or promotion I will finally be able to relax, when I get this much money I’ll be good to go, when I get a boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife then I will be doing what I feel like I was made to do, when I have kids that can pass on my legacy THEN I’ll finally be happy… and the list goes on. Life is 90% journey, 10% destination. Having dreams and having visions for the future is amazing! It’s essential to living life alive long-term. But it’s so important to embrace the now. Love life now! Because if all we have to focus on is tomorrow, then today never had a chance. You work for 4+ years so you can walk across a stage and grab the piece of paper before you’re onto the next journey of finding a career. You find a job and before you know it, it’s all about when you can get the promotion. Time after time, it becomes about the destination. Make life about embracing the journey today. The journey of school, work, parenthood or whatever it may be. Enjoy it! We don’t have to look ahead to wait for our dreams to be coming true! Because sometimes I think, if we take the time to stop and look around, our dreams are coming true right before our very eyes. ✨#travelwithpurpose
