Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success.
I remember when I used to think I had to work a shit job until I could move higher up the corporate ladder to make more money. .
I was so unhappy with the hours I had but it was a sacrifice I thought I had to make.
Man am I glad I realized that isn't true!!
You literally can do anything you set your mind to. You get to choose how you want to live your life.
For me.. it's doing meaningful work with flexible hours.
I want to always be there for my family. Even the ones in Texas 😊
I want to be able to see them whenever they want me to visit instead of planning out when I can take vacation time.
But I also want to do work I'm so passionate about that I can work on my vacation and it not feel like work 💕
So many people hate their jobs and it breaks my heart. I absolutely love what I do. But I had to take a leap of faith and trust that it would work to leave my old job.
We can't expect to be successful if we aren't happy with what we are doing.
Find what your passion is and go after it!!!
Don't hold back. You're only given one life and all too often it's too short..
What will you do with yours??
I will be the first to admit that my @Amazon Echo Makes Mom Life The Best Life with my busy schedule! Don’t you wish you had some help during your crazy mom life moments? Not only does Alexa help me keep track of daily reminders, helps me with my weekly grocery lists, play family games, but also is the best at creating unplanned kitchen dance parties! Plus, the Amazon Echo Plus Generation 2 comes with its own hub, which means being able to control compatible smart lights like the Phillips Hue Smart Lights, switches, sensors, door locks, and even includes a built-in temperature sensor is so helpful! How would you use your Amazon Echo Plus in your home? #ad#Ic#AskAlexa

First time traveling with two kids! They both did SO great! Saying goodbye to Daddy was the hardest part. My big girl was an amazing helper and my little guy was so snug in the ergo pouch. Thankful to be able to do school from anywhere and take my babes to see people and places we love!
The memories can never be taken away no matter how hard they try. A picture speaks a thousand words. The love we had and the fun we shared. Letting her know she is loved forever even tho she wasnt allowed to attend our special day even tho she was supposed to be a big part of it. 💜💯 #familyforever#neverletthehatewin throwback to March 2014
Hey babe, let's do another photo shoot, ok?❤️ In the meantime, here's one of my favs from our wedding day😍
You guys, I love this man. Thanks for protecting me Justice. And for all the other things you do so well😘
When I was a kid, I remember hearing my parents talking about friendships like a home. It went something like this…
Our yards are filled with people we’ve met, but never really known. Our front porches are full of those we know and may see frequently, like at church, the grocery store or at work. Our close friends fill our living rooms and may be the ones we make plans with regularly. But our kitchens will only have 3-4 loved ones in them…our absolute best friends.
We may have thousands of acquaintances and hundreds of friends. But, over our lifetimes, we will only have around 3-4 best friends. The type of friends that know everything about you and stick with you through it all, the good, the bad and the really really ugly. I’ve thought about this a lot over the last few weeks, since we lost our baby.
I’ve worked hard to grow my social media following for years now, barely taking a day off. After our miscarriage and after only spending a few days away, I lost 30 followers! At first, I was upset and thought quitting social media sounded tempting. But, at the same time, I couldn’t ignore the hundreds, HUNDREDS, of kind and uplifting comments I got on Instagram and FaceBook during that hard time.
Sure, I may have lost 30 followers who don’t want to follow our difficult times and lack of adventures. That’s ok. I still have people standing in my yard, hanging out on my front porch, sitting around on my living room sofa and holding my hand in my kitchen.
These are my friends. The people who have been praying for me and encouraging me. No matter where you might be found in my home, you are here. You are my friend. Thank you for showing us how much you care by sticking around when the going gets tough.
Wet Monday feels in Glasgow today. She's a cutie, but don't take that belly off her or she'll lose her shit 😂😂. Its been such a dreary monday, we're all coming down with something sinister aaaaand we don't have a boiler 😂😂😣. Doing up a house has major downsides. It's been a tea and blanket snuggles day today.
