No electronics in bed room after 9 pm 💫 we started this 2 days ago & have so far stuck to it, I think the going to bed, with out my phone has been the hardest. I can see how much better sleep I am getting though & the waking at 6 comes pretty easy when I don’t feel screen hungover.  I am telling ya guys, his getting a healthy mind set thing harder then I ever thought it would be, but I am so glad Michael & I are doing it as a team.

Como ya vieron en mi storie , las SEMILLAS de de chia las deje en remojo un día antes .A continuación cogemos todos los ingredientes y lo metemos en la batidora y cuando tengamos una masa homogénea lo vertemos en la sartén . ⚠️Ojo , la sartén tiene que ser muy buena(antiadherente)para que no se pegue y así tampoco haría falta de añadir aove😊.

Today is the start of a new week, this past week has been less then easy & has taken its toll. I have eaten poorly all week (I am a huge stress eater) I got all my work outs in, but when I think back to them, I could have been putting more in to all of them. I ran hard this morning for the first time all week, it felt fantastic. Tomorrow my alarm is set for 6, and I am starting fresh! Wake up early, get that workout done & get ready to face my day. Happy Sunday everyone, I hope you have a beautiful week!

Where my veggie-lovers at?

Yeah, so most people could do with eating more fruit and veg.

Plants have a ton of nutrients... 🥕🍏🍉🍇🥑 even most of the nutrients you get from animals will have originally come from plants!

I'm not going to list off ALL the vitamins, minerals, trace elements, macronutrients etc, but I will focus on a couple.

1 - Fibre.

This baby improves your digestion, helps balance blood sugar, and keeps you feeling more full. There is little to no fibre in animal products, so we HAVE to get it from plants.

2 - Water.

If you find it tough to drink lots of water try eating it instead! Fruit and veg often contain loads of the stuff. Watermelon, cucumber, strawberries, pineapple, celery, spinach, and green peppers are all a great shout, but just go with whatever you enjoy the most.

Obviously there are all the vitamins and minerals we haven't talked about, but that would take forever. There are just so many!

So yeah, eat more plants.

Let’s get honest for a minute, I love sleep 😴 but it doesn’t come easily to me anymore. I blame my phone, and yes it is 75 percent of my problem. But also My mind plays tricks on me at night & that’s of coarse when all the things I forgot to do this month come rushing in, or embarrassing moments from high school come rolling back in to my mind. I like to use some oils to help, but honestly.. I am kinda in need of some tricks & advice.. this mama needs some sleep.. being a mommbie is really not cute.

Elle grew up in Issaquah and began her Yoga journey at fifteen years of age. What started as simple exercise quickly became a way for elle to reconnect with her sense of self. In 2013 Elle decided to deepen her practice by attending the Ananda School of Yoga and Meditation in Nevada City, California. There she recevied her RYT 200hr certifiction and began to see more clearly the thereauputic aspects of Yoga. After taking a break from teaching to give birth to her son she began studying with Brooke West, a renowned Yoga therapist from the central coast of California. Under her guidance she learned the basics of trauma informed restorative yoga. Elle's classes focus on creating a safe space for students to relax their bodies and still their minds. Elle joyfully invites you to join her in class and discover the healing powers of deep relaxation.

Lori grew up in New Jersey and spent most of her adult life in Indianapolis. She moved to Issaquah in 2015 and absolutely loves life in the Pacific Northwest. Lori has been practicing yoga since 1999. Although she was initially attracted to yoga for the physical challenge, she soon came to appreciate the more mindful benefits of her yoga practice. Making a positive difference in people's lives is important to Lori, so as her personal practice grew she wanted to bring yoga to other people. Lori earned her 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Certificate at All People Yoga Center in Indianapolis in 2002 and studied Iyengar Yoga for several years with Jyoti Hansa. She began teaching vinyasa yoga at various yoga studios in Indianapolis in 2002 and appreciates any opportunity to share the joy of yoga with others.
Lori aspires to integrate the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of yoga in her classes through alignment, conscious breathing, and mindfulness. She begins each class with few moments of centering and focused breathing and ends each class with 5-10 minutes of deep relaxation. Throughout her classes, Lori links movement with breath and provides verbal cues to help students maintain some mindfulness of their body. She hopes you will come to her classes ready to learn and laugh and leave feeling more peaceful, joyful, and contented.
