Inktober Day 21: drain
Ahh I’m kind of over Inktober D; I’m not really inspired anymore and I hate how everything is coming out now. I’m not really spending enough time on the drawings like I did at the start. Probably because I keep comparing my art to others? (￢_￢;) But I’m going to see it through the end since it is almost over anyway.
Love is a strange thing. We use the word a lot but our understanding of it is limited by the human condition. Actually loving someone means giving them a piece of yourself, no strings attatched, which is risky and a real challenge but so so worth it 🧡 even if we are super #breakable creatures.
I abandoned inktober the last couple days to give myself a break from playing catch-up and to lay down the first layer of color on this beauty. I don’t believe in forcing art and I’ve never been a fan of committing to thirty days of prompts that I didn’t choose so if you followed me hoping to see consistent posts.... you’re in the wrong place 😂 Quality or Quantity - choose one. In all seriousness though, I just moved from Illinois to North Carolina last week, I broke my big toe in the process, and I was sick in the hospital the week before that too so I’ve had a full plate. I don’t have a lot going on this week though so I’m hoping I can spend most of my energy on catching up and making some pretty things 🤗 #inktober#alcoholmarkers#chameleonpens @chameleon_art_products #fabercastell#butterflies#butterflyart#customart#workinprogress
