We have been so caught up with life lately! It seems as if it has been a whirlwind of busy schedules, long work hours, and many events. What can we say - we can’t escape the busy season! When it seems like you don’t have breathing room, we remind ourselves to take a moment. Pretend as if we are on top of a mountain alone. Breathe - inhale and exhale. This little pause allows us to reset, physically and mentally. Setting aside that fifteen minutes in a day is really important to us - especially when we need to destress. What is one thing that you do out of your day to take care of yourself?

Howdy all, this week I have partnered up with @adobe to show off some of the features in the @lightroom mobile app 😁. Sometimes when I’m travelling I’m waaaay to lazy 🤭 to get my laptop out to edit, especially if I’m in the car or on a flight, I find it easier to do a little edit on my phone instead.... so much easier.
Make sure you follow along with my insta stories to see how I edited this shot 👍🏻
Use the alone time to learn about yourself. Think about your present self. Plan for your future self. You don’t have to be completely so sure about everything. Not everything has to make sense. Take care of yourself because at the end of the day, you might be all you’ve got. Let go of people. Let go of things. Let go of memories that hurt you. When you let go, you let in new people and memories. If you can’t let go, lock it in your heart. Visit it time to time. No rush. Don’t rush to grow up. Why are we always in a rush? It seems like when we grow up, we grow apart. From who we really are to how the world wants to see us. It sucks. We like to tell ourselves that we’ve been through it all but we all have stories. Take time to write yours. Self-growth is a scary thing but commit to it. You’re going to be more sensitive than other people and more vulnerable but our strength is more than just physical. Don’t bottle up.

Dear Santa/Krampus/whom it may concern,
What’s the opposite idiom for “a walk in the park”? Because yes, mmhm, I will take one of those this season and you can put it down right next to my stress induced overeating and obligatory lump of coal. Thank you for your time. TTYL. K.I.T.

PS.. please also gift me a beverage that has the same effect as drinking coffee and wine at the same time. Thanks. K bye. 🎄
Check my story to see how I procrastinate whilst being stressed about all the shh I need to get done. 😎
A guard standing watch outside the Forbidden City Palace, just as they would have 500 years ago when it still housed the Chinese emperors. Now more a symbolic representation of political power, it’s an impressive site none the less!
I felt the desaturated look of the picture helped emphasise the ‘unique’ feel of the area.
The architecture in China is some of the most amazing I’ve ever seen. Every city is host to its own unique skyline, each with equally impressive structures that can’t help but draw stares at the sight of them. This is the CCTV headquarters in Beijing, a behemoth of a building, but just a small part of what makes up that cities individual skyline. Such an amazing sight!
Finally on to some shots from China! Usually I like to post in a sort of chronological order of places I’ve visited, but because I’m still catching up, these might a bit sporadic..
This is a shot of the famous Shanghai skyline from the South End of the Bund from a cute little rooftop bar. Shanghai has quickly become one of my favourite cities, so modern and chic. I can’t wait to come back and visit some more!
