“I took up music when I was 17 because I had a knee op so couldn’t play sport. I started releasing some songs after a ski season because I didn’t want to get a job and it’s gone from there” @nathanballmusic

We are hanging out with our good friend @ottersurfboards this Friday evening from 7pm.
Every year Otter Surfboards throw their workshop doors open, tap a keg, bring out all their boards and invite you all to come and meet, drink, talk.
This year is no exception. We will be on the grills with Veggie tacos, @timnunnphoto will be showing his film The Plastic Project and James will be on hand to talk wooden surfboards.
The event is free but you do need to grab a ticket via @ottersurfboards insta bio.
Come and say hi.
Here’s another one for all you wave watchers out there, this time taken from Pendeen Watch facing west towards Levant Mine. Look at those waves in the foreground; they were heaving and surging like a mosh pit! I felt sorry for the rocks in amongst it all but I guess they’re used to getting battered after so many millennia!
When you’re surfing you might only spend less than 5% of the time actually riding waves... the rest of the time you’re paddling or just sitting, waiting. To a non surfer this might seem strange, like time wasted. But to the surfer it’s part of the experience, an opportunity to be still and look to the horizon or chat with mates... for that period of time when you’re in the water, you’re disconnected from your work, your worries, the demands of daily life... the ocean is the ultimate sanctuary!
FIGA ~ has long been used for a symbol for many cultures, one of which is as a strong female symbol 👩🏻 This piece is a vintage Figa which I will be adapting and using in my work as a strong feminist symbol and one of support and togetherness. Now to decide, should I offer it on a long chain, short chain or both. I’d love to hear your thoughts 🙏🏽🖤🖤
Be happy, be different, be confident and focus on your journey, not the destination.
This morning I’m off to go and give business advice to an incredible designer, help her to get in track and get back to her goals.
In the heart of St Austell, discover Pinetum Gardens, a place of tranquillity, peace and remarkable garden scenery. This family-owned garden offers an intimate experience with a personal touch, rarely found in our busy world.
Lovingly created over the past four decades, this 30-acre garden is home to one of the largest plant collections in the county. Set within stunning parkland, ten individually themed garden rooms host an array of plants. Pinetum is also home to some of the county’s most spectacular champion trees.
