Vuelvo a repetir como he dicho tantas veces, en un simple gesto est谩 un gran cambio. Prueba a dedicar unos minutos cada ma帽ana. Si茅ntate con la espalda recta y los hombros relajados, coloca suavemente tus manos sobre tus rodillas e inclina el ment贸n hacia adelante.
Empieza a inhalar y exhalar de manera consciente, llevando la visualizaci贸n de tu respiraci贸n a tu columna. Observa tu respiraci贸n y trata de mantenerla suave, profunda y lenta... Deja que tus pensamientos vayan pasando y evita cualquier tipo de lucha hacia ellos.

Conecta con tu YO interior, empieza a tomar conciencia de verdad sobre tu respiraci贸n y observa las fluctuaciones mentales.

It's here, a chance for you to destress, switch off, release those muscles and focus on unwinding.  The Christmas period always gets so busy and can be pretty stressful, so make sure you put this workshop in your diary to take a moment for yourself. It will be held in the beautiful studio at @storeysfieldcentre, Eddington, Cambridge. 16th December 10-11.20am. 
HCR Rel-ease庐 is an ESSENTIAL part of any woman鈥檚 self-care toolbox.  Simple ways to 鈥榬elease鈥 muscular tension that draw on self-massage and myofascial movement.  This programme also involves simple meditation strategies and ESSENTIAL Pelvic Floor and nervous system down-training which, we all know, is just as important as 鈥榙oing the work鈥. We release with mobilisations,  foam rollers and massage balls, finish with a little meditation and leave with a goodie bag.  Spaces will be limited. Seated Twist

This is a great form to take if you have discomfort in your back.  The gentle twisting action allows the muscles along the whole spine to stretch, often resulting in more suppleness.  Allow yourself to stay in the pose for at least 5 deep breaths. With each exhale, work towards relaxing and allowing both shoulders to sink towards the earth. Make sure to do both sides and gently hug knee into the chest after each side.

Growing up in a country where the landscape was respected, where we were in awe of it, used it as a resource for nutrients, for physical and mental health - I never took it for granted. Landscape has always been a part of my art work. At the moment though I鈥檓 finding living in a country where I feel pretty helpless to make change, when climate change is considered a myth by people in power, extremely difficult. I am also finding myself making pieces that are about protection of nature.  There is a covering, reinforcing, a binding and suturing ..and ultimately hopefully a healing. .
