I just love the saying ” Into the forest I go, to lose my role and find my soul ”.
I always meet my soul in the nature, and today was not an exception. After work, I walk out into the forest and further to ” my ” lake. I sat down, near the water, turn up my face to the sky, and let the suns beams warm my face. I saw a duck landning on the waters surface and my mind and body do the same, landed in that very beautiful moment. I sat in silence, and listen to the flags sound in the wind, and the smell from the lake and the forest vegetation next. My heart could sense so much gratitude for this moment and my soul fly high in the late summer sky, to touch the suns light and feel the smoothness from the clouds. I inhale with all my senses the beauty who affect me, in the highest best for the whole of me. It take my breath away for a moment, and then, I exhale, and could feel the serenity coming to me. I could sense my roots, who belongs to the great nature, and that make my heart smile in joy. When I leave, this divine moment, I thought of how lucky I am, to have the privilege to find one of the days most wonderful moments!

I know that relax and calm moments are good for you. Moments to just breathe and let your thoughts fly away and time when your body does not have to work. This is not my strongest side, as I’m always up to something. But I’m learning slowly and trying to listen to my body 🙏🏼🦋💕
Definitely thematic for the week is the idea of overextension. When does meeting someone in the middle get so gray that it becomes doing the work for two? Aside from gestating a human, I can’t think of many instances where the former is balance and health driven. I can be a classic do the work for two girl. I was born a nurturer, and as much as it feeds me to care for others, it can also come with a cost when not kept in check. In parenting you can want so much goodness for your children but by you standing over them you create so much to shade, it impedes their capacity to receive the light that they need to grow. Thankfully single parenthood is an guaranteed antidote for that ;) In family it can be the repeat pattern of rug sweeping, all in the name of craving peace in your clan, however thereby creating a very lumpy carpet between you and your loved one(s). And in love, in true true love, it can be the gift of seeing the best in someone, but giving in to settling for less than what you know they can deliver. We talk about spring cleaning but I think fall is just as good a season as any to clean proverbial house. I do not in anyway suggest cut-throat, turn and burn relationshipping. Not at all. But I urge you, and me, and all of us to mind the mind. Despite deep wants for some things in life, for honesty, real show up, maturity, sometimes you can’t always get what you want. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t another course to take. That’s some really pretty Queen Anne’s lace, clover, butterfly, favorite field medicine in action right there. Funny how letting go and giving into what’s in front of you can in the end deliver the most pleasure.
