As I wrap this series up, I want to emphasize there are other ways to track progress other than your body weight. .
.  They’re non-measurable ways to tell if your nutrition plan is working. .

Down below you’ll find five different ways other than the scale and had a track your progress.

1. You’re satisfied after meals
•When eating nutritionally dense foods, you’ll feel satisfied instead of craving more processed artificially, sweetened food. •Getting into a habit of eating slowly so you’ll enjoy meal times instead of feeling rushed. .

2. You’ll have a better mood
• you’ll have a constant energy flow, instead of the highs and lows that you get from sugar-laden foods. This will bring a positive mindset. . .

3. You’ll be sleeping better
•It will be easier to fall asleep, as your body gets used to not having a surge of energy from processed foods running through your system .

4. You’ll feel stronger and have more endurance
• no more slacking off during your workouts. With proper nutrition, you’ll feel energized and strengthened to complete your workout. . . 
5. Begin Measuring •as we measure certain body parts, we will see the fat melt off over the weeks, and months. This is a great way to measure the progress of your nutrition (and fitness) plan.

#transformationtuesday but on a Wednesday 😁😁 My transformation journey is still going - so many things I can still learn and get better at. 💪👌 I’ve been feeling complacent lately so I’m throwing it back to this photo comparison for some motivation. 🤗🤗 The girl on right (2010) is so different from the girl (present) on the left -  not just physically but mentally. Crossfit and the #crossfitcommunity have changed my life. This is how you push through plateaus in your workout! 💪 #rockittofit 
I jogged for 8 minutes this morning. I know that’s sweet FA but it’s a big deal to me. I’ve exercised every morning so far this week for 10-15 minutes, joined by a certain little Winter when I’m doing squats and stretches in the garden, and I feel so much better for it. 
The first time it took a huge amount of mental acrobatics to get out of the door. Most of the thoughts surrounded embarrassment. Embarrassment that I, a physically healthy 35 year old, would be unlikely to jog for more than a few minutes and that people on the street would know this, watch me and my cellulite bobbing along, and judge me for it. Then I started thinking about the growth mindset messages I try to weave in to Win’s day, every day, and I realised I should try to practice what I preach. I’m not trying to run the marathon but I had to start somewhere. Who knows, tomorrow I could jog for a whole 10 minutes 🤷🏼‍♀️. What I do know is that those 10 mins of serotonin were definitely missing in my life and that I’m willing to persevere.

There are some aspects of being a kid that are just plain awesome. Toys, playgrounds and birthday parties aside - some of the psychological and cultural B.S. hasn’t crept in yet. My kids aren’t worried if their clothes don’t fit right. They don’t care if they’re over/under dressed. God knows I’m not even allowed to have an opinion on what they wear - “Fine, wear the short tutu with Minnie Mouse undies showing, just get in the car.” They have no concept of body image. Eating too many fries isn’t a diet pho pa, it’s a norm. Running isn’t about losing weight, it’s about having fun, and they don’t have to train to be fast, they just really are! Why can my 6 year sprint like an Olympian? Is it the lower center of gravity - no seriously, is it? Maybe if we let go of wondering what “they” will think (whoever “they” is) or the social rules “they” made and live like a kid for awhile, we’d be a little less harsh on each other, and ourselves.
