After far too many days of stress, late nights, early mornings, and extra large cups of coffee i finally finished and turned in my first memo assignment yesterday. I had to celebrate all the relief i felt by finding some birds! I was able to catch this #greenheron looking directly at me 🤣🤣.
It was so early and dark outside that I really had to push the ISO to get any reasonable shot of this little blue heron. I don't seem to see many of these hanging around the Circle B Bar Reserve, so I was happy I saw him... and had a D500 with me 😄

I’ve given you Lightning, Northern Lights and a Secret Waterfall in my three posts. I might as well round it out with another of my loves. Eagles! Although this one is of the Golden variety not the Bald you so often see

A young urban squirrel that I photographed last week in the gray weather. It's really dull and dark outside here now. Not at all good for photography. Hopefully we will get some snow soon so that everything will be brighter and more beautiful!❄️😀☃️

Moose are awesome! I was watching this gal eat twigs in a snowstorm! That's pretty much all they eat during the winter! To think that this huge, majestic animal can survive on that is truly amazing!! Love them!!
