Happy Fathers Day!
We're taking this day to recognize the difference you make in the lives of everyone in your family.
You are seen and appreciated, even in the smallest moments.
Through your excitement to meet your new babies, to the work you do to raise them, your steadfastness through long nights and tired days, we see and respect you.

☘️My decision to attend this school was rather a strange sequence. As an elementary school kid... I was a die hard LSU fan and each time I visited I told myself... LSU is where I would go.. that’s the school I would attend after high school. Then I got into high school... and throughout high school I decided, LSU would be my decision. Then came senior year of high school. I had the mindset of LSU. My brother is in his second year at LSU. So I have had an opportunity to see how he likes it. I went with him and helped him move in and loved it and my decision was still LSU.
☘️Then came.. my decision... I applied to multiple different schools... not one was LSU. My first place of application was Southeastern Louisiana University. I had never visited, never seen the campus... but I applied. After I was accepted, I researched through various means to see why people liked southeastern.
☘️After doing my research I decided I needed to visit. I went tour the campus and instantly loved it. I was very happy with how life on campus seemed. I was attracted by the welcoming environment and the people there. Everyone is very helpful and nice to each other.
☘️This picture is from SOP1 (Summer Orientation Program 1). I loved orientation even more, I met many people and befriended many more. This was a great experience and I cannot wait to start school in the fall.
As a lot of you know and a lot that don’t. My husband has been very excited and has struggled to keep it quiet. I think it’s finally time to make a post to share with everyone. We are expecting a lovely little blessing in December! #decemberbaby#blessing#can ’twait #excitement
Mark and I could be Daddies soon! At the end of last year, we decided to start the adoption process and 6 months later, we have finished stage one. It is a tough process but we are fuelled with energy every time we are reminded that we could end this year with a child of our own. We have had brilliant support and my Mum giving us this card only shows just how lucky we are.
We have travelled to different countries, thrown parties and enjoyed each other’s company the last few years, but now we are ready. We are ready to start a family, to be dads and ready to turn our life upside down.
Happy soon-to-be Father’s Day to us!
