Carboquartz shaped and beginning to contour. I prefer to bring out the rings and not have the pattern random and splotchy. Once I get one displaying the pattern I want, then I have to do my best to make the other side match it. It’s a very consistent material throughout, so all you have to do is slow down and take your time.
Yesterday @melt.burn.make commented on the photo I posted of our MESU asking how to use the Phillips bit that’s included with the tool. The way I use it is to first just turn the bit in my fingers to get the screw in as far as I can, then I put the bit in behind the back o-ring which holds it inside the 1/4” slot in the tool. Next I hold the tool with two fingers and press my thumb on the back of the bit to get the force needed to drive the bit while I turn the tool. Hope that’s helpful! #mesu#multitool#edc#everydaycarry#knife#blade#bottleopener#caplifter#pry#phillips#driver#wrench#madeinusa#waco#texas
Spent the day setting up a grind room in the corner of the basement. Hope to enclose this corner and exhaust the dust out the window to keep the rest of the shop as dust free as possible! The window also adds some great natural light!
